The way the Scottish media released the news that O'Neil was leaving on the morning of the game. That was so calculated. Hard to forgive them for that.

Didn't know that. Do you think that was a contributory factor in our loss, RR?

We did have good chances that day and I'd imagine the players would have known Martin's personal circumstances and would have wanted to do well for him.

For me, the worst result was the loss against Hibs at Parkhead just a week after we beat the Klan at Ibrox. Think Scott Brown may even have scored that day...

    English, please.

I had every right to say that at the time and you know it. Results were shocking.

So true mate!! Was in the tollbooth when some * unloaded a bottle of champagne 20 mins out!! I was suddenly hit with this feeling of dread!!

However, I still wasn't overly concerned this year. Whilst we've dropped levels no doubt what's always relaxed me was the fact THE ORCS ARE *!! When you understand that life's good!!

You are entitled to your opinion just as I am. This season I couldn't be sure if we're gonna be champions just yesterday before the game not to mention back * then when I posted this. Maybe it was pathetic but the way I see is that you feel entitled to the trophy, that it's ours no matter what and fail to recognise how terrible we were and that we really could have blew it.

It's no about opinions though. You were wrong. You didn't say we "could lose it|" or you were worried you said we wouldn't win it. You made a * of it.

Looking at the first 10/12 pages of this thread amid all the doom and gloom, only the few posters above were positive ( with the exception of V/spawn of course) take a bow chaps, you are legends !

That's not a criticism of Venom-spawn either, there was genuine concern about the squad and Rogers !

Yes, mate, I do. IIRC many of the players didn't even know yet. I might be wrong, but as I recall it, they hadn't told most of the players yet, because the race was so close. Then the morning of that game, the players found out through the media.

That's how I remember it. If I am right about that, it definitely will have had an effect on the players and their focus. How could it not?

It's possible my memory is playing tricks regarding the players, but I remember it was news to me anyway. I was pretty stunned. Then with what happened at the end of the game itself... that was not a good day to be a Celtic fan. Right down there with Dallas in 99 and PSG last season.

At any rate it was scummy of the Scottish media to reveal that on that morning.

Read the first few pages of this thread. A bit of a riddy for some posters albeit with the benefit of hindsight.

I'm surprised so many were in full panic mode.

Serious question- why was it scummy or pathetic to announce it? It was major news, why would they not break the story immediately?
