So how would a 'red bull' know if it was pumping a 'blue bear'!

When you hear a chancer or a Wee rogue being referred to as "Jack the lad" Jack was thought to be real.
A young London teenager called Jack Shepherd was a London rogue of the 1700s. He had been imprisoned 4 times and once was a gaol that was thought to be unescapable. Jack escaped. For this he become a local celebrity and a sort of folk hero. His downfall was he couldn't stay away from his local haunts. That's where his friends, easy money and love of prostitutes was. So the authorities knew exactly where to get him. Fifth time wasn't so good as they took him away and hanged him at the age of 22. Poor Jack the lad.

Epoisses de Bourgogne, a cheese so smelly it is banned from being taken on public transport in its native France.

I honestly would love a whiff, just to smell how bad it is.

I reckon my old football boots are worse.

There's a now defunct 'soccer' club in Detroit called 'Detroit Express' (1978-1981).

They were co-owned by Jimmy Hill who was also chairman and managing director of Coventry.

    Thumbs up where?

I imagine a thumb up your * would be quite rude in most countries, unless you're Random Review of course.

The longest word in the English language has 189,819 letters and takes three hours to pronounce. It's a chemical.
It's spelt 'Titin' that's the shortened version of it as I'm not feckin typing out the original name.

The term Hooligan/Hooliganism came from a gang of lads in London in the 1890s who caused mayhem, crime and brutality not seen before.
In the older days your social class and wealth were known by how big your dress was, the bigger the more expensive and richer you were.
Also i believe it was the same for men and Top hats eg the higher it was the higher the social status
