    The moment I saw him in the hoops I knew he was a serious serious player. His first touch, his movement, his intelligence is that of a PSG player. He's so young as well, what a * player he will be for us. Top drawer.

    Can't believe any genuine Celtic supporter can look at this move with anything other than positivity.

    The guy's banged in and laying off goals when he's been in and out of the team.

    If Brendan says he's one of the best young players he's worked with, who are we to disbelieve him?

    From a guy that's worked with Sterling, Suarez, Coutinho, Sturridge etc. That's high praise.

    Personally I think he has more potential than Dembele. While he isn't yet the physical specimen that Dembele is, his touch and technique are superior.

    Given the progress we've seen from guys like Tierney, Armstrong, Forrest, McGregor etc. under Brendan, I'm absolutely buzzing about this. If you give a very talented young player to Brendan, he develops them to another level both physically and tactically.

    You seen the difference in Eddie just from the start of the season to the end. In another 12-18 months he'll be unstoppable for us.

    I guess the comments a few pages back just typify some in our support.

    Sign loans? Toys oot the pram.

    Sign Bosmans? "We're not spending enough, loosen the purse strings Peter!"

    Break our transfer record for a young guy who has had a very successful loan spell and has represented France at every age level coming through the youths? "That's too much money Peter, wisen up eh!"

    For those that are unconvinced, Eddie will have you eating your words.

    Really happy that we managed to get the deal done, makes a lot of sense, we already know what he can do.


    A great young talent who will only get better, his physical strength gives Brendan the option of a plan b against teams that will press high, has the ability to bully defences, as the uglies have found out lol.

    Was talking to a friend last night about him and who else could come in and I was saying why didn't we offer a similar price to city to get Roberts as he is a more proven player for us in a position we need a bit of strength
