    This 100%.

Lustig was * woeful and Bitton showed he isn't a centre half in a million years.

Ajer was the best of the three.

Better players than him have been "found out" playing for Celtic away from home. Many of the same players have been responsible for some of our outstanding home performances.

He's 19 and playing alongside a midfielder at the back. Good learning experience for him

    Bollocks.

19 year old with next to no experience at this level, playing next to Bitton and Lustig who were both dreadful.

He might not have been great but to have a go at him is * pish. Like I said, he was better than those two.

Watch the game again, if u can bare it. it was a poor show. Both him and bitton were shocking and weren't good for the heart.

Scott Brown was abysmal. Is he not good enough now?

Ajer was far from our worst performer.

Bitton at fault for 3 goals, 1 for Ajer.
would be much better beside jozo.

not a bad word to say about him tonight. Bad deflection maybe needs to learn to communicate better.

The * does that have to do with anything? You're scraping the barrel in order to slag off a 19 year old centre half. Pretty sad.

Honestly to throw him under the bus when he is paired with Bitton in defence, (who by the way is shyte midfielder who despite some good form lately fans always expected to be a liability in defence) is just crazy.

For a CB he's got a long way to go and I see no reason to chuck him to the side after one game, I believe if he carries on doing what he's doing he could easily be a mainstay in our defence very soon.

    Well said.

I've seen enough to feel that he is going to be a very good player.

Wasn't great tonight. Was far too touch tight to Kabananga for the most part and out of position too much..

    He's young though..

I've never been convinced he is a CB we bought him as a CM I am sure he even played up front for his last club

Agreed, I think because of his form is partly why Rodgers wasn't overly fussed about bringing in a new cb despite all the injuries.

He knows he got Jozo and Boyata as the main two and is now happy with Ajer enough to settle knowing that Ajer, Lustig, Tierney, Erik can all deputise there.

Bitton has no future in that position at all and with the new guy in (if that is even true) I wouldn't be shocked to see Bitton sold and Erik stay to be honest.

I fully agree with this. I feel heart sorry for Ajer considering the abuse hes getting online. Lustig and probably Forrest let him down badly for his OG. Ajer done nothing wrong on sticking the leg out to catch the incomong shot. He was just unfortunate that he guided the ball in. Imagine the abuse he'd be getting if he watched the ball sail past him without making a play?

Biton was awful but again, a midfeilder playing centre half. The whole team were off the boil as a unit in the second half. Once we get our starting xi back all will work out

He was hung out to dry today by both Bitton and Lustig and I wouldn't absolve Gordon either. You can't blame a kid for the panic that set in, but it does show he is a bit off competing regular at the highest level.
