Very shaky first half from him. Needs a kick up the *.

Wasn't at his best, but big players come up with big moments and that tackle at the end meant we left with 3 points as opposed to 1

    Exactly.

Dodgy first half but that tackle at the end was outstanding.

Better second half, but clearly not his best game in the Hoops.

First half he was all over the place, a lot better and more composed in the 2nd half. Maybe a bit fatigued so good timing with the break.

Not his finest outing in a Celtic jersey, but at least we won the game, he never cost us the points today.

We need better than him at the back if we're going to take the CL serious next season.

    Bollocks.

He played well in the CL this season against the best front 3 in the world and one of the richest teams in the world.

I think you and a lot of people forget how young he is. I said that was gonna be a different kind of atmosphere and game to deal with to any he's played in before and I think it did take him back a little. His passing and decision making was all over the place to begin with, settled down in the second half though. He'll be better for the experience and I don't think we'll see a performance like that from him again.

I will say though, neither cb looks that comfortable defending long balls over the top or defending from corners. Think with the long balls it doesn't help that we play such a high line at times but from corners we look a real shambles. Definitely something we need to improve. I'm still not totally convinced Kennedy is the right man for the role he has.

It was a bad half second half he was very solid, let's be honest he's not the best with the ball at his feet but he's very solid and proved as much in the champions league group of death! I think it's worth pointing out Kolo Toure wasn't on the pitch at half time so I'm guessing he was in the dressing room, take from that what you will but it says to me Rodgers wanted him to have a word with the two centre halves.

That is a world class tackle that.

Thought he was caught out majority throughout the game but that tackle just shows how much potential he can bring to a game.

Erik the Viking might not have had his best game......but he made sure the three points were safe with that late last gasp tackle. That and the fact he smashed that fud Garner made my New Year a very happy one....and a trip to my local boozer after the match (which is full of huns) a most pleasurable and enjoyable occasion.

Not in my opinion he never. Ambrose and Wilson held Barca much better previously and they're not world beaters either. We need better defenders and better footballers at the back.

They had Wanyama just infront of them though and Forster behind, makes a very big difference.

Think we should be trying to bring one more CB in to challenge these two, but it's certainly not urgent.
