Would rather we kept him. He is a good player and an extremely likeable guy. Very passionate for the club too. Let's not forget how easy it is for a players form to dip, Simunovic or Boyata could easily lose their form just as Erik did. Erik has looked back to his best from his last couple of appearances.

CELTIC’S treble-winning defender Erik Sviatchenko has ended the season on a note of high fashion – as co-designer of a limited edition of tweed jackets which salute the Lisbon Lions.

Along with his artist father, Sergei, Erik has created the highly-collectible jackets - only 67 are being made - in a specially-selected Celtic Harris Tweed.

Hand-woven in the Outer Hebrides, the jacket features its own exclusive shade of green. The lining takes the form of a specially-commissioned collage by Sergei, bringing together iconic images from the 1967 Lisbon victory. The lining of the jackets carries iconic images from the Lisbon triumph.

The jacket features three buttons, a hook vent, gross grain collar tab, patch pockets with flaps, raised seams and of course that striking collage lining. And as befits a jubilee, the sports jacket also boasts golden blazer buttons throughout.

With attention paid to every detail, these highly-collectible jackets come packaged by premium company A-Tex. Working closely with Sergei Sviatchenko, the Denmark-based company have created stylish protection and carriage for each piece.

Lisbon Lion John Clark, who helped Erik to model the jackets, said: “This is another magnificent tribute to the Lions. It is a beautiful jacket to wear and I'm sure will be handed down to the next generation.”

The jackets come in specially designed commemorative packaging and are being sold exclusively through Celtic at £390.

He was * honking at home to Partick aswell all over the place that day, i think there's a good defender there but really needs to work on his focus and keeping his hands off opponents.

All our CBs can be guilty of giving away cheap fouls..something they need to work on as it will cost us in Europe. That's why Toure's experience was important in the qualifiers last year.

I would seriously love one of these. Love clothes and have a passion for it. Like the sound of gold buttons and raised seam. The big one is the Lisbon lining. Will be worth a few quid down the line.

Think he'll be back stronger next season, he looked a lot better in his last few games and obviously struggled with injury and confidence throughout the season.

Wouldn't be surprised if he leaves this summer, I'm not a big fan anyway.

I wonder if the 1_2 game v dedco this year has shown a wee vulnerability in our defense that caused br to stick with boyata ,we definitely have tightened up more but still feel we need an aggressive and experienced CB to partner either of our cb's for cl games .

I just watched the New Year game over again today funnily enough and other than that one moment he strolled it.

He even got back with a goal saving challenge on Forrester. I still rate him, but we definitely need another CB to add more competition.
