    Looked him up a bit, and it seems that City fans couldn't rate the poor man worse. :56:
    Hoping that Deila knows what he's doing, but this is the type of signing that he used to do at Strømsgodset. Signing an unwanted player who no one really has an interest in, and then turning them into decent players.

    It's funny, if you go to the first page to that thread they're all worried because he's starting, but a couple of pages in he's doing well. How they can really judge him when he never got a run of games for them is beyond me. A lot of people will just make up their mind on a player and never re-evaluate their positions. Like with Forrest or Stokes :fear:

    Let's be honest, if he was the type of player that City rated as a real prospect I doubt we'd be getting him for £1.5 million.

    He'll undoubtedly have his shortcomings, but if Deila has seen enough in his strengths to believe he can work with him and turn him into a player then he's worth a punt.

    Wouldn't take much notice of what the fannies on blue moon are saying. If it was before they won the lottery I'm sure they'd rate him but now they think they should have a team of world class stars

    This I think. Kinda feel like they've only kept him around to fill the quota for the CL. Might have been a good prospect for them 3/4 years ago, but not anymore.

    Sounds like their 35 million quid signing from Porto TBH.

    Only difference being Mangala has shown he is hopeless full stop whereas Boyata hasn't had a chance.

    He played 6 games for Man City this season, which means he's immediately better than 99% of SPFL players. And let's not forget, they wanted to extend him contract apparently. If true this is an absolutely huge feather in his cap.

    City fans, with their rich Sheik pumping gazillions are just a spoiled bloated bunch of classless * now. Lets face it, if it doesn't cost £35m they aren't interested.

    Even with their Rupert Murdoch and multi-billoinaire Arab's spunking constant money down their throats, they still won the square root of * all this season :bbpd:
