Everyone needs to calm down Brendan is as clam and honest a man as you could get at Celtic, do you who are mopping and moaning he could walk seriously think our board are that naive and stupid to get nearly 55,000 season tickets sold best manager we can get all the money rolling in to not back him! Yes ideally he wanted players in January he said 2 possibly 3 we all know kouassi was one and onyekuru was the other but it didn't happen it will be fine listening to him I would think we will get 1 in within the next 2 weeks and the. We can wait and see what happens he knows what he is doing just all calm down everything will be fine!

I've supported Celtic long enough to know what the board will do here. They splashed out on Brendan last summer and got his big signing in Sinclair. They're done.

They'll now string him along over signings until he packs it in out of frustration, and they'll hope the fans blame him rather than the board.

I'm confident there will be signings, Brendan is the biggest asset at Celtic right now, it would be insane for the Board to * him off, money will be spent.

Here we go the doom and gloom brigade have arrived.....lets keep the "I told you so " posts until the transfer window is finished.
I've bought my season ticket and I have faith in Brendan and Dermot Desmond to improve the squad....lets keep the positive rather than the negative.

I am wary of the board more than most, but it isn't even July yet. Players, managers, agents are on holiday. Some are playing in tournaments. If we get towards the end of July, second round negotiated past the mutants cousins and there is still no movement then maybe we can start to worry.

I don't believe for one moment he only want's to bring in 1 more player, we'll be working on bringing in multiple targers I'm sure. I'm pretty relaxed about it all, no need to panic buy, I trust BR will bring in quality rather than quantity, I'm still 50:50 about Hayes, but I trust Brendan.

He definitely wants more than one.

The question is when he gets more than one in. It looks like we are only going for another 1 in time for qualifiers beginning.

As it stands it seems any significant business will be done towards the end of the window.

    Don't talk * *...

You honestly think Rodgers would have signed a 4 year deal without any guarantees over significant backing???

If the one other before/during qualifiers is the french defender, then im happy.
If we then grab another midfielder and perhaps a roberts (or similar) after we guarantee Europe, then over the moon.

Its more the shifting of deadwood im looking forward to. And seeing some of the younger guys in ajer and eboue coming on. Who are arguably 2 new signings to this team anyway.

Exactly totally agree about shifting the deadwood!

Bitton, ciftci, gms, janko and Henderson could all go shortly imo

Celtic are set to make only one more signing between now and the end of their Champions League qualification adventure. Says manager Brendan Rodgers: "There is another I would hope we can get in. Then I just want to get through the qualifiers with the players who have got us through, knowing they are a year better on."(Scotland on Sunday)
