Think Rodgers is doing the same as he’s done with Ajer, given if a few games here and there plus European experience. He’ll definitely be more involved next season.

He’s a young 20 year old lad who, in the past fourteen months, has had to move to a country where he’s had to learn the language and culture from scratch, adapt, settle in, recover from a serious illness and recover from various injuries. All that while trying to improve as a player at a big club with a strong squad, not to mention that the squad’s most consistent performer and important player (Brown) plays in his position.

But you’re totally right, it’s not like the manager has repeatedly said that Kouassi has a huge future in front of him, while trusting him to play a big role in two of our biggest games of the season (against Zenit) so I can totally understand your logic. No, wait... :97:

That was quite a hostile response just telling it how I see it :D it's not like we haven't seen this happen before with prospects ?

Apologies - no intention of being hostile :60:
All I mean is that he’s had his fair share of difficulties outwith his control in settling in, plus Brendan has made clear that he rates him highly, so there’s no need to panic that he’s not going to make it here or pile pressure on the lad. Give him time and I’ve every faith he’ll come good.

Maybe like Musunda, he ain’t built enough for the hustle bustle of SPL. Maybe needs a few more weights sessions, a couple more weetabix and a big whack of haggis to get him going. Seriously though, since BR has taken over, you look at the much Forrest and KT has bulked up. That doesn’t happen overnight.

Not sure if that's the reason Packy.

He's not afraid to stick the foot in and has plenty of energy about him. Plus, going by his performances so far, there's no reason he shouldn't be in the team more often.

Just wondering aloud. Can’t see why he doesn’t play him. Then again BR has said Compper isn’t training as well as other defenders to get a slot. Must be * rank if he can’t dislodge big Boyata. Lot of mysteries regarding individuals.

yeah hostile was maybe a bit strong lol

i dont read the papers mate, so dont keep up with the daily ins and outs of whats happening at celtic or anywhere else for that matter, didnt know or forgot about the the boys illness or and injuries, so yeah taking that into consideration its a bit more understandable :50: i remember we signed petrov years and years ago and he barely played for a year and half he was a kid when he came to us also

i know we had injuries for the game against zenit but i thought he done well against them to maybe have played a wee bit more, i guess im just a bit of impatient

the compper one is odd, maybe it wasn't brendan that signed him and he doesnt rate him, boyata is/has been a bombscare more than usual and he cant shift him *

Give the guy a game ffs. The two or three times that he's started this season we've looked impressive. You've got to give this guy a run in the team Brendan

His lack of game time can be entirely attributed to the fact he's a direct replacement for Broony who in the first instance has been playing like he doesn't need a break and in the second the team needs Brown in it whilst fighting for the 2nd and 3rd trophies of a double treble.

Want to see him get more chances.

Thought he was immense against Zenit especially.

Would start him in the rest of the league games ahead of Ntcham after Sunday’s game is all over, all going well.

Alongside Brown? No need to play with 2 defensive midfielders in SPL games (at least imo). That's the number one reason he is not playing that much in the first place.

Think we should have him sitting alongside Brown for a few games to see what us expected of him otherwise he will most likely start looking for a move
