We're sorted at left back for the next 2 years imo, what a performance from the guy, almost brough a tear to my eye hearing his song again

 

Excellent first half. Credit where it's due, he'll go and hit that 30/40 yard pass down the line. Tierney doesn't do that enough IMO, but imagine it's because BR would rather guarantee possession with a pass inside.

Second half he was fine. Defensive lapses. When we got dispossessed in the final third and they hit us on the counter there was a gaping hole at LB every time.
The chance for Mutombo on 50 mins comes from a break away down our left, simply no one at home. And then for their goal, it's Brown who actually has to drop over and fill the LB position to contest the ball in the air with Izzy still up the pitch.

But hey, the guys 32 he cannae get up and down like he used to. First game back as well.

it was a very jaded performance from us dont know if it was to do with this being our 3rd game in 7 days or we were jaded because of all the negativity, we were comfortable with the ball at our feet but it looked like we were playing at 65% energy levels

2nd half thistle were better and we were a lot poorer until thistle scored and we seemed to have got a kick up the * for it

lost the ball a few times whn we were trying to force it down the left 2nd half and when that happens hes never getting back

 

Done a lot better than I expected him to.

Good backup option to have!

If we want to play 3 at the back with two wingbacks, Izzy and Gamboa look the part for me.

 

He proved today that he still has alot to offer and has kept himself fit, despite some people thinking he was overweight

He is the perfect back up to KT.

 

Quite lively, and doesn't seem to be affected by that wasted year in Saudi Arabia. What was he thinking coming there, though? As a devout Catholic, one shouldn't go to a place where the Bible is illegal.
