I know that there are a lot of weird decisions by referees especially by Scottish referees.
This decision, though , has to be among th weirdest
Pitch invader scores last-gasp equaliser in Honduran league game - and unbelievably the goal stands
This is why football is the beautiful game.

Because even with a full set of rules to abide by, things still go very wrong from time to time, as the hilarious above video proves.

The clip is from a Honduran Liga Nacional game between Olimpia and Motagua, which was poised with the away team 2-1 ahead in the 93rd minute.

As the footage shows, the Motagua defence come under a heavy attack with Roger Rojas dancing with the ball in the box, looking for an opening.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the box at the Estadio Tiburcio Carias Andino, a topless pitch invader dribbles into the danger area with another ball...

Trust us, it gets in more strange.

As Rojas finds some space and smashes a shot at goal, hitting the back of the net, the pitch invader also rolls his own ball past the helpless keeper.

Now we should be clear, Rojas did score the equalising goal, but the sight of two balls coming the keeper's way left him in a world of confusion.

And understandably he was quite angry. Technically, the game should have been stopped before the pitch invader even got a chance to have a shot at goal.

The keeper made his voice heard and complained to the referee, but his reasoning fell on deaf ears and the goal stood, meaning Motagua had to head home with two points dropped.

    Nightmare.
