This ain't happening, way out our price range.

I can't see him even considering us anyway, mostly with coin in his head.

If we did get him even on loan I'd be ecstatic.

I would say aye we need someone with his ability, Brown has been amazing his season but we need to make sure we have enough quality to win the league and adding him would help us do this.

He would take pressure off Brown and co in the middle and add that extra bit of quality as well.

You just need to look at Foster this season and seeing how he loves being back here.

I think we have a chance of getting him but are the board willing to bring him home is another thing.

Regardless, we should be sounding out Spurs, just to see where he figures in their plans.

With the money we have took in it's a no brainer , but the board don't see it that way, ideal replacement for broony, hard to find too so worth every penny, not a gamble as he has been there and done it.

It’s in the clubs wage structure, if you include PL & why wouldn’t you, he’s an employee.

    Its 100% not.

The club have a tiered wage structure when it comes to players. Each tier is capped.

The last time i read, Brown was on the highest wage. No player in the team will be on anything near to what Wanyama now earns at spurs. In order to get Wanyama we will first have to be able to afford him and then to be able to give him a satisfactory wage which will mean he takes a pay cut or he earns more than our highest earning player. If he wanted to come and were to be available. The best bet will be a loan to the end of the season.

PL is not a player and does not fall into the same category. Lets think about it.

I just took it when you said our wage structure you meant club employees.

I thought about it & realised you said it wrong & didn’t mean that though did you.

We stopped using that structure when BR came in.

We are out of that first time Lennon-Deila bottom barrel scraping era. Signings like Dembele, Sinclair, Ntcham, Edouard, Julien and even loans like Elyounoussi/Forster show we have moved it up a gear in terms of transfer fees and wages.

That doesnt show anything, im talking about wage structure.
Theres no way that Edouard earns more than Brown. The current wage set up might have the same tiered wage structure, with higher top ends.

Sign him by any means necessary if you want to win the league. Our midfield gets overrun time and time again by they *!

Get this * big beasty in, let McGregor go back to taking a more advanced role and challenge Rogic* and Christie.

Then have a Ntcham, Brown and Wanyama challenge for the deeper roles.

McGregor was stunning as an attacking element, he needs to go back to that.
