Probably cause we needed the 3 in midfield and had no CM on bench.

Again the cb's were * hopeless for their goal an area of the team which has needed strengthening for years over the two legs showed we can compete but for clown like defending

    Aye exactly.

I nearly started a big angry thread about how I hate modern football and how * soft it is. I genuinely feel like every single week we have one * ridiculous soft red to talk about or two yellows which are as soft as *.

It just ruins the * game man. Too many games have been * in the first ten minutes. I personally prefer beating teams who have 11 men on the park. Im not saying ban reds but * I'd like a re-evaluation of what constitutes yellows and reds. Our * sport is becoming a * laughing stock.

I know it's nothing new but I love hearing Hartson saying "We" when he talks about Celtic.

Big big lesson learned by the looks of it ,adopted the perfect shape ,pressed very well and remember we have a lot of inexperience in forward areas so for me ,that is the basic shape ,wee bit of tinkering in the forward area and picking the right pass or not snatching at chances , much more compact as a team even with 10, and it wasnt totally defensive either ,It's not sacrificing attacking style to play this way its being savy ,I think this is how we should set up for away games and at home for teams who are deemed better I.e the big 4 nations , really pleased with how the whole team coped ,brown was fantastic tonight Hayes played out his skin and has shown he can handle playing for this team now ,jozzo back to his best again ,and bain is now numero uno .

Wanted to see it again to be sure and it was the right decision. It is spectacularly bad defending.

i wish we were in a better stronger league and the players would have to play at 100% of their ability all the time, like tonight

Bain is a great shot stopper but also very good with the ball at his feet , that panic doesn't set in like it did with gordon..brendan wants us to play like that from goalie outwards pass.

Frustrating as * though... by the time we learn our lessons in Europe we sell our best players and have to start again. Revolving door of learning lessons in Europe it seems. Would love it if the club had a bit more ambition in the European scene... easier said than done right enough.

Tierney obviously coming back but hayes maybe just needs a run of games , good backup to Tierney or play in natural position some games to switch and challenge sinclair ,got plenty heart and workrate.

You know it was a pretty decent night overall folks!! To hear the manager talk so positively was brilliant and we'll use this a confidence booster to go and get that treble treble!! It must have been on the back of a few minds that it could have been a sore night!!

If we played like this in the first leg though Minty the second leg would have been completely different. They din't need to chase the game in the first leg.
