    Is he fit?

Time he got a chance. Cross after cross in to the box from corners, free kicks and open play..

    Where this guy excels..

Talk was that he has looked absolutely terrible mate, that’s from the Celtic blog and there was murmurings of this before tbh. Yes it’s all hearsay but it wouldn’t be like Rodgers to sell us a pup would it.

He strained his groin when he was away with the Côte d'Ivoire's U23 side, I'm sure.

I would like to think with the teams who had bids lodged for him aswell as us he wouldn’t be a dud, he is injured and it could take time
To settle but if he is guff then add that to the list of bangura, balde, brozek et al

Just posting what I’ve read and heard tbh, it is hopefully a lot of * and he fulfills the potential Lubo alluded to.

Celtic striker Vakoun Bayo is set to miss the rest of the season after rupturing his hamstring.

The £2million January signing from Dunajska Streda has made just one appearance for the first team, in the 1-0 win against Kilmarnock back in February.

Bayo has featured for the reserves and netted in the 6-0 fixture against Dundee back in March as he aimed to get up to match sharpness.

The striker was a smash-hit in Slovakia and netted 22 goals in 32 appearances for Streda but has struggled to make an impact at Celtic so far.

Lennon said: "Bayo is out, he’s ruptured his hamstring, so we’ve not been able to see any of him, well I haven’t since I’ve come in."

All of these constant soft tissue injuries over the past several years make me think something is wrong with the fitness/conditioning component of our training program. Obviously we have a relentlessly busy season with the amount of games we play, but honestly it's a bit ridiculous how many of these injuries keep happening.

Our injury record this season must be horrific, we've had every player injured bar Bain, Forrest and Weah.

Have little hope and haven't since the first highlight reel I seen. Absolutely bizarre that we sign * for millions in January and dont see them at all :56:

Feel sorry for the lad, hope he keeps his head down and gets on with his recovery.

This is a good time for him to aclimatize (or however the * you spell it) to the country, to the people and chill out whilst the weather is good amd focus on next season.

Will look forward to seeing him in pre-season and what he can do.

Our training, conditioning and all together medical backroom needs some amount of looking into.

The amount of these injuries that happen is unacceptable, especially with our strikers.

Could be to do with the type of player we sign these days. Explosive, athletic, young who are more prone to these types of injuries. Samaras or Alan Thompson never moved quick enough to pull hamstrings.
