    Just finished watching the play-through of this on youtube by RadBrad. Easily the best I have watched in a while.

    Another of these 'interactive' stories but it was just like watching a film. Hayden Penettiere looks just as good as in real life, too.


    Anyone on here got it/played it? I would but it's PS4 only.

    Good find mate, watched the rad brad videos, who is up there as my fav youtuber for gaming. His gameplay walkthrough of the evil within is excellent aswell.

    Dont think i'l buy it just now, but i really enjoyed the walkthrough of it

    Just finished this.

    It's a cracking game. If you have a PS4 then get it played, especially if you're a horror fan. Said it in another thread but I usually don't play horror games because I'm a shitebag but this game had me hooked from the get go. The story is interesting, the characters are all unique and play on horror film cliched characters. You'll hate some and like some straight away. But one in particular went from one of my least favourites to my favourite by far over the course of the game.

    It's tense as *, probably helped by the fact I play it at night with my light out.:smiley-laughing002: But aye, it's fantastic.

    As I said, I loved the play through. Even watching it was intense never mind playing the * thing.

    I know there are various alternate endings...how many characters survived in your one, Sean?

    I looked forward to playing it but dreaded it at the same time.:smiley-laughing002:

    5 survived in mine. My 5 favourite characters as well which was a winner. Mike, Sam, Ashley, Chris and Matt.

    Mike was the character I was talking about. Never liked him at first but he went all Nathan Drake and I loved him by the end.

    Aye I know what you are saying, I ended up liking him as well.

    Bit I found * terrifiying was when two of them were down in the basement hearing noises and *, there's a big jump scare at that point if I remember correctly. Shat my pants:56:

    That when you open the door and the * ghost appears right in your face? One bit as well when you can run left or right, I chose right and the * Wendigo jumped right up at my face as well.

    Honestly never seen it coming, screamed like a wee lassie.:56: I'd recommend this to anyone who has a PS4 and hasn't played it, can probably pick it up cheap now as well.

    Doesn't seem to be talked about much.

    I got it for Xmas, playing some other games first but going to play it soon.

    From what I've heard/saw the visuals are amazing.

    Didn't get very far on my first play. Spend a good 30 minutes searching for the bathroom ffs! :56:Just reached the cabin with the two love birds. Did not encounter too many scary things yet, although that overgrown hamster that jumped out of the cupboard made me swear out loud. :52::smiley-laughing002:

    Great graphics and excellent atmosphere. I'm sure I'll encounter enough jumpscares on the next few plays. Why did I buy this? I hate jumpscares in video games.

    There's quite a few jump scares in the first section of the game but as you play on it gets less about the jump scares and more about atmosphere.

    Or maybe I just got desensitised to jump scare after the first few. :icon_mrgreen:
