Watched all 8 episodes this week. Amazing, I thought the story was great, from start to finish. The two leads were unbelievable . A bit dark but was to be expected after the opening scenes.
Have to say after watching BB and sopranos through in last few months neither are better than this.

Watched the first 6 episodes so far. Absolutely brilliant. As has been said, the two leads are excellent. Can't wait to finish it tonight

Finished it. First 3 episodes were great, last 5 were superb. I know a few people didn't really like the ending, I thought it was very good. What a character Rust was, loved him and Martys relationship.

Now that I've seen both Fargo and True Detective, I can say Fargo was much better, but loved both shows. Can't wait for seasons 2 of them!

I liked the end. Except the axe throw or something like that was a bit action movie like.

I can't even watch Fargo, read a spoiler for the ending on the Hobbit imdb trivia page :smiley-laughing002:

In the middle of Fargo now

    Great show

Not as good as episodes 1-7 of True Detective but a great watch nonetheless

Ah that's pish. Only 10 episodes though give it a go. Billy Bob Thornton is excellent in it.

Did you no like episode 8?

Fargo first episode sucked me in straight away. Fargo spoiler ..!

When Freemans character stuck that hammer in his wife's head, that * shocked me big time, didn't expect it:smiley-laughing002:

The scene where Rust breaks out of the hood in True Detective is one of the best scenes going. * intense.

The 6 minute tracking shot? That was top class.

That's the one. Stand-out moment of a fantastic series.

Loved it when they took out the drug dealer guy in the middle of nowhere too, and the first time you see the dealer, walking in slow motion with the gas-mask on while Rust goes on about life being a dream, then says, "And like a lot of dreams there's a monster at the end of it." * class.

    Aye that was totally unexpected.:smiley-laughing002:

It's weird. I did enjoy Fargo but to me it was just another good show, nothing special but enjoyable all the same. Whereas True Detective is just unlike anything I've seen. The dark atmosphere mixed with the fantastic acting and characters, and the plot. Incredible.

    Those scenes are phenomenal.:50:

Aye he is, definitely recommend watching Fargo to anyone.

Nah I thought the ending was pish. In a way it's a shame but then at the same time I loved the rest of the episodes that much that it didn't really diminish the series.

Matthew McConaughey was superb, probably the best acting I've seen in a tv show. Woody Harrelson not far behind as well.

For me that award would go to Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad for best in a tv show. Heard he was great at comedy to in Malcolm In The Middle but I haven't seen that.

Aye apart from Heisenberg you're right

Malcolm in the Middle was a really good show. We watched a load of them at uni and they still hold up, funny programme

You'd never believe it was the same guy

    Premieres on June 21st.

Can't wait for this, that trailer has me even more excited and more sure that the cast will be great. There's no dialogue in the trailer but, as I said before, I think Vaughn suits the * up villain and Farrell is a good actor and very likeable.

Season 1 was perhaps the best single season of a show I've ever seen, it was just incredible. Hopefully it has a similar feel, and I'm sure it will be very dark, but don't think it will be quite as heavy as the first season.

Cannot wait for this as well, season one was excellent. And this should be great as well, absolutely love the cast they chosen. Vaughn and Farrell
