    Well...

The whole Yellow King/Carcosa is a literary reference. Look for "The King in Yellow".

Best show I've seen, overall a 10 out of 10. Well written, brilliantly directed and the acting is over the top.

I loved the show, but I was left a little disappointed by the fact the showed us early in the series Audrey playing with the dolls, implying she had been messed or had been involved with in some way with the occult but never touched back on that. Plus the killer reveal was quite disappointing aswell, we heard about higher powers being involved, rich people involved in a cult, but its a hillbilly inbred who loves with his half sister or some * ?

Yea I get how it was obviously meant to be about character development but still. A lot of unanswered questions. Particularly concerning his daughter as Pepper says. The drawings, the dolls, the promiscuity, the medication etc. The stuff with the black lady when he showed her the symbols, why was she like that? What is Carcosa? Just barely mention that stuff and I won't be bothered about not learning what it is.

Obviously they're not gonna unravel the massive conspiracy and bring them all to justice because that wouldn't happen, but some kind of decent ending would have been nice. It just fizzled out to me. Because I've seen other decent shows end so *, eg Lost, Prison Break and Heroes for example, it's just a bit annoying.

The first 7 episodes were excellent though.

That shootout sequence in ep 4 was brilliant. Tracking shots through houses etc was staged perfectly.

    Rust has went badass.

Just blasted through these in a few days.

What a show. The acting in it is top notch and Mcconaughey is out of this world. Rust is a fantastic character!

    10/10 :50:

You're in for a treat. Wish I was in your position.

Watched the full series twice now and could easily sit through it again. Absolutely phenomenal.

I didn't think the ending was that bad...we really need a spoiler thread, but:

Yes, there is more out there - unsolved, but they handled as much as they could. I think this was a pattern through-out the show. There is so much * up * out there that you can't stop, you can't control, at all. Rust and Marty did fantastic, considering.
