Saying "he know's/doesn't know the city" all the time in Celtic chat just isn't funny.

If Johnson gets voted in by the Tories then that really is a joke having him and trump being the elected leaders of the brits and the USA. However in that situation everybody has their choice. Vote them in or vote them out.

You are right. The media bias against Corbyn has been stupid( since before he was even elected).

He should have grabbed the bull by the horns and have been more left/wing radical though since he became the Labour leader.

Made the cardinal error of lending a mate some money in February. He'd promised another mate he'd go to the Newcastle v Burnley game and was telling me how he couldn't really afford it so I said I'd lend him some money(£100) til the end of the month so he didn't let his mate down and he could pay me back at the end of the month. No problem.

End of Feb comes and I can't remember the excuse but he couldn't pay me back so I said fine I can wait until the end of March no bother.

I speak to him regularly and he keeps saying" I know I owe you that money I haven't forgotten" if I try and steer the conversation that way.

I don't desperately need the money back anytime soon but I do think it is starting to take the * now. Or am I being too harsh ?

I obviously don't know all the ins and outs of his finances but he used to be my boss at work and I know he takes home at least £500 more a month than me.

It annoys me that it annoys me and that he doesn't seem to appreciate how awkward it is. Might just tell him he can pay it back at a tenner a month.

 

The type of people who go on that show are all muppets. I have only watched a couple of bits here and there, but it is * embarrassing.

Not to mention the * voted for Sky in '91, I wonder why?

You get people like that mate. No changing them. Me and a mate were stranded abroad after missing a flight last year and I paid for his new flight home at over €400. Over a year later and he still hasn't paid me back. Only bits I've managed to get back was we were sharing a place and he paid my rent one month for €250. Still owes me the rest. Always an excuse.

Got pal's doing this to other pal's of mine and they paint together, drink together and everything else but still doesn't pay his debts back on time. With other's he needs to though, they get it on time funnily enough..
