Transfers that you hated

With the looming possibility of signing Jack Hendry becoming increasingly likely its fair to say that the majority of our support are far from impressed.

It got me thinking about similar moves which i railed against.

Leigh Griffiths: honestly, when we signed him i was disgusted. I saw him as racist little ned who was vastly overrated by the hibs support. I genuingly thought he would bring a world of trouble upon us. How wrong i was. I * love the griff lol.

Craig Gordon: didnt want him then dont want him now. I will literally crack a beer in celebration the day he leaves. I saw him then the same way i see him now, jambo obsessed sevco begging bowl * with delusions about his own ability.

Steven Pressley: hated him as hearts player and was apoplectic with strachan when we were linked. His advanced age made him a non starter for me.

Gary Caldwell: another of strachans mis hits. At hibs he was a brain fart and a clumsy *. Somehow he became more of * after strachan signed him.

What about yersel?

Leigh griffiths - for same reasons as above and also grown to love him
Nadir Ciftci and Paul telfer - both hummin footballers

 

And Kenny miller - * knows how I forgot that *

 

Carl Muggleton / Gordon Marshall

Big Packie was my * hero, when these wallopers ousted him I was devastated. Actually cried I think.

Could probably actually say most of Strachans signings were underwhelming at the time of them signing. Most went on to change that right enough

I actually remember throwing a cushion at the tv.

 

Roy Keane. I couldnt stand the way so many fans gave him a heroes welcome. Seems like an * of a man and did nothing for us.

 

Was amazing to see him in the Hoops, one of the best of the modern era.

 

Caldwell, Pressley and Miller are the ones that stand out. The fact Balde, despite all his faults, ended up behind those two in the pecking order for defence was laughable. Miller just never hit the ground running for us at all one good game against Benfica and a goal vs the huns and that was it really was underwhelmed when he signed didn't care when he left and he's now one of my most hated huns ever just because of how many goals he's scored against us.

Also really annoyed when we signed Henri Camara after spending weeks thinking we were signing Rivaldo talk about a complete let down.

 

Remember not being too impressed at signing Shaun Maloney in his second spell. Just didn't see the logic in it.

Tbh probably most recent transfers with teams from Scotland out with Armstrong and McDonald.

Guys like Ciftci GMS Christie id even say Morgan tbh just doesn't excite me.

I wanted us to sign Armstrong and Johnny Russell at the time and now I want Mcginn but not for the money mentioned out with that I wouldn't be shopping in Scotland
