I don't mind him, just disappointed he didn't have a better attitude while at Celtic. Expected him to do a lot better at Hearts tbh.

It's hard to explain. Maybe it's the way it's worded.

Think he has an excuse for everything like his injury being when no one was there, then re injuring and everyone was back would motivate him but just him and the physio was off putting.

It's his whole attitude, he doesn't lack the ability it's his attitude, if he had Griffith's or browns attitude he'd be class.

True. But 7kg on a relatively small/light guy? You would expect a bit of weight to come in, but not that much.

Sounds like he had persistent injury problems, so it doesn't surprise me too much.

It really isn't, unless you are eating and boozing too much. I tore my MCL and actually lost 4kg mostly due to my thigh muscle wasting while I had to keep my leg elevated and the lack of exercise meant I only needed to eat minimally. So yeah, easy if you're a glutton.

Depends on the person. I play basketball at a decent level, summer we stop training for 6 weeks. Great for my knees. I gain a stone everytime even if i watch what i eat. Flies off within the 3rd week of pre season though.
Sure i could train more but by the end of the season my knees are too sore and need the break :56:

You are eating a calorie surplus then, which is exactly my point.

So not easy then, you have to make some bad choices for a protracted period of time.

Not necessarily, plenty of people just eat their normal diet.

Well yes, and if they put on 15 pounds in a few weeks, that says that their normal diet has too high a calorific content and needs to be adjusted if they are not exercising. For someone of Tony Watt's age and occupation, you are looking at ~2000 calories without exercise to maintain weight. It is pretty hard to eat a nutritionally dense diet and go over that to the extent that you store fat. Roughly speaking, 3500 calories a week in surplus will equal 1 pound of weight gained, therefore, in the period of being injured he has been making a lot of bad choices in regard to his diet.

i couldnt have been the only one thinking because he is a bad trainer its no wonder he gets muscle injuries a lot, add to that he seems to be the kind of ignorant guy who will eat and drink what he wants when he wants, he does himself a lot of damage, it's his life i guess but it just seems another prospect that has lost his way due to a bad attitude and he should be thankful for having a gift and being able to play professional football and earn decent money or does he really want to be working in a call centre earning * wages and getting * for help from the dwp's universal credit
