I would only bring him on with about 20 minutes to go if we are chasing the game.

With respect, that would probably be the WORST time to throw on a rusty Tom Rogic.

    How?

He’s probably our most creative player and one of few who can create something from nothing. If we need a goal and are pressing I wouldn’t see the harm in giving him 20 minutes or so to try and do something.

Because an unfit Tom Rogic is one of the slowest players you'll see - putting him on to chase the game down is daft.

Not sure if you get what I mean by chasing the game. I mean if we are a goal or two down and are in dire need of getting somethingl and are pushing forward and having all the ball, then we’ll need someone with the creativity and guile of Rogic on the pitch.

Having pace, or a lack of, shouldn’t really be a contributing factor in the last 20 or so minutes when people are potentially knackered and we are pushing forward with possession of the ball.

This is all immaterial anyway...we'll be 3-0 up by that time and he'll be doing keepy uppies in the centre circle.

Because more times than none if we are being beat in European games, then we're being bossed in possession and need to press like * to get a goal.

Rogic is a fine player, but when he's unfit he's worse than a man short.

I can’t see us being dominated in possession at home to Zenit (watch me jinx it) and usually teams will sit back if they get a lead away from home in Europe.

Pity Tam couldn't get any minutes recently, we've lacked creativity since hes been injured.
Would like to see him come off the bench at some point tomorrow.

I think the time is right for him to leave.
On his day he is a top player and i dont feel that he has reached near the height of his potential due to injury and international duty.

But at 25 and having speant 4? Seasons with us now.. we both know what we are getting.

If we got decent money for him, id be sad to see him go, but id wish him all the best. Gave us some great memories.

nah this is a article published in Australia, not scum like the papers over here. Can find the guy on twitter here if you think he's spouting pish but 99% sure it's true- https://twitter.com/lewieatlarge

They reported the other year that Leeds United were trying to sign him before his contract extension (which was later confirmed true by club). Could see him leaving tbh has achieved everything domestically that he can, although performances in European competition could've been better. Probably getting offered stupid amounts down south

Would be criminal if he's allowed to leave.

Would be sad to see Rogic go, a quality player with an eye for a killer pass, some belters in terms of goals and gave us some fond memories in the process (Last minute winner against Killie to pretty much win the 15-16 League title, last minute winner against Aberdeen to seal the Invincible Treble).

If he leaves, he'll go with my best wishes.

Got the technical ability to be class in Europe, just his fitness lets him down, such ashame. He might just need a fresh challenge and new surroundings which is understandable after all his injuries.
