Played against Japan last night (Australian time) was pretty heavily marked so couldn't do much but still a few good moments. The problem for Australia is that when he's marked out of the game we don't have the others to step up into the space created; Celtic don't have that problem with plenty of class all over the pitch. If a team marks Rogic heavily at club level then good luck with the likes of Sinclair and co coming at you as well.

Yeh ,would be great to have a fully confident and on his game Forrest too ,feel he needs more belief in himself at times ,still to see the explosive pace he once had ,maybe still holding back in case he does his hamstrings again .

What the * was up with Sutton criticising him on commentary from the moment he came on?

From about 30 seconds after he came on he was constantly giving it "Rogic needs to do so much more, Rogic should be doing more there", it was weird.

Yeah, I dunno if Sutton was hurting so much he couldn't check is emotions but he was way OTT with his criticism imo.

Laid in to just about every player except Ralston to a degree.

Thought Rogic was decent when he came on last night in that he was able to take the ball and take up further up the pitch, my only concern was that he seemed to pick the wrong option. I thought he could have had a few shots from distance instead of looking for a pass that wasn't on, or was poorly executed.

I thought he was quite poor actually. The amount of times that Roberts had 3 players surrounding him and Rogic was jogging about and not offering an out ball was ridiculous.

He plays with no heart or desire. Shame as he has the talent.

Rogic looked ok, could have helped Roberts a little bit more

Yeah, that was another concern. Though, despite his talent that's not something I've normally associated with him in any case. I think he needs to work on his movement. He receives the ball beautifully and has the ability to drive forward but last night I just felt that he could have been decisive in the final third because he did genuinely seem to get a few chances to open up and shoot from a reasonable distance, but for some reason he either did take them or decided to pass - and the pass was usually poorly executed.
