He can be far more than a cult player. He is the most talented player in our squad imo.

TR: I feel great and I feel fit. I’m looking forward to an exciting period with the club.

TR: I’ve scored a few against @AberdeenFC this season, but it doesn’t count for much ahead of these last few games.

TR: It’s nice to know I can do it but tomorrow is a new game, we’ll see what happens.

TR: @AberdeenFC have had a fantastic season, they’re a good side and over the last few years they’ve been our biggest competition.

TR: We know the match will be difficult, it always is, especially as it’s away from home but we’ll make sure we’re ready.

TR: We go into every game wanting to win. It’s not so much about focusing on the unbeaten run but looking at one game at a time.

TR: We have big games between now and the Scottish Cup final so we just focus on the next one.

TR: Obviously, we’re playing them at the end of the month but regardless of how tomorrow goes it won’t mean much in terms of the final.

TR: The cup final is a one-off match. It’s high pressured and anything can happen, so I don’t think you can look into it too much.

TOM Rogic says he’s ready to perform should Brendan Rodgers hand him a place in the starting XI for Celtic’s Premiership game against Aberdeen at Pittodrie tomorrow night (Friday).

The Hoops midfielder has had a tough season following an ankle injury in December, which halted a fantastic run of form for the Australian who’d notched up 10 goals in 20 games.

Rogic spent nearly four months sidelined before coming back to the fold as a substitute in the 1-1 draw against Partick Thistle in early April, and he has gone on to feature in every game since.

Speaking ahead of the trip north, Rogic, who has scored against the Dons three times in three different games already this season, is ready to play his part in what he expects to be a tough encounter:

He said: “I feel great right now. I don’t feel that there are any problems because I feel good and I feel fit. I’m looking forward to an exciting period with the club.

“I’ve scored a few against Aberdeen this season, but it doesn’t count for much ahead of these last few games. It’s in the past and now it’s time to look forward. It’s nice to know I can do it but tomorrow is a new game and we’ll see what happens.”

He added: “Aberdeen have had a fantastic season. They’re a good side and over the last few years they’ve been our biggest competition. We know the match is going to be difficult, it always is, especially as it’s away from home but we’ll make sure we’re ready.”

Celtic go into the game against Derek McInnes’ men looking to make it 44 domestic matches unbeaten, in what will be the fifth encounter between the two sides this season.

And although the league endeavours will draw to a close on the final whistle tomorrow night, the Celts will face Aberdeen one more time in the final of the Scottish Cup at Hampden on, May 27.

It will be the season finale for both teams and victory for the six-in-a-row champions would secure the club’s first treble in 16 years. Despite having a 100 per cent record against the Pittodrie side this season, including a 3-0 win in the League Cup final, Rogic and his team-mates will remain as focused as they have been in going into every other game this season.

He said: “We’re playing them in the cup final obviously, but regardless of how tomorrow goes it won’t mean much in terms of the Scottish Cup. That’s a one-off match, it’s high pressured and anything can happen on the day, so I don’t think you can look too much into it either way.

“We go into every game wanting to win and that’s not going to change. It’s not so much about focusing on the unbeaten run, but more it’s more about looking at things one game at a time. We have big games between now and the cup final, so we just focus on the next one.”
