    Well done to him for saying what needed to be said firstly...

    Maybe the SFA might note that we all know it’s still going on! I wonder WHO has made them aware of it?

    As for punishing somehow... it’s a pay tv and business matter. Nothing to do with the club as an organisation.....

    ....or is it another thing that the club will be responsible for due to the use of the word ‘Celtic’ ? :87:

    Bottom line is - it’s true .. and the SFA don’t like it being pointed out.

    Boyd, the club and Celtic TV need to tell them to ram it.

    Once again the SFA are a total joke. I have listened to Celtic TV and Tom Boys as colour commentator for years now and Tom has made complaints about refs almost every game and this one was no different. He did not say anything abusive he simply stated a fact that it was a stonewall PK and it was. He referenced Beaton's trip to a well know zombie pub and how he would be welcome down there again as a result of not giving the pk again a fact. He often makes comments about ref bias against Celtic but suddenly when there is a direct zombie reference to what he said it is a problem. The SFA the MSM will all pull out every and any excuse to try and derail us this season. More then ever we need to stick together. That includes this ridiculous situation as well as getting behind the team on Thursday in a big way.

    Sutton rarely says stuff he can't back up (e.g. that the referees are shocking). We all know that some of these referees will be "welcomed down their local" after some of their decisions; but you can't accuse people of bias on a broadcast without any evidence.

    Paul Larkin has shown you can actually say much worse if you back it up with evidence. If Tom Boyd really wants to keep accusing officials of bias, he needs to be smarter and put in the legwork. If he doesn't want to put that effort in, he should confine himself to pointing out their incompetence.

    It goes without saying that Tom Boyd is a good man and I hope nothing happens to him because of this. I just wish he'd wise up a bit and look after himself.

    They'll probably claim it's because he is employed by the club as a club ambassador, so it is a club employee saying it rather than just a commentator. But it is bollocks and I can't see what they can do other than fine the club a pittance at most.

    Sadly I think your right and this is a perfect example. Beaton not giving the PK was an absolute joke of a decision. It was obvious and not hard to see at all. Yet this is the SFA's response. Beaton should be nowhere near a Celtic game again. He is IMHO clearly a cheat.
