If its £6m, rising to 10 on criteria achieved, fine. That's fair price for a player of his ability, for us. If it's 10 cash, on the nose, move on; it's a dead deal.
£2m if we qualify for CL. Another 2 after 50/60 appearances. We could live with that...

    Guy's never coming..

No just saying it but he looks gash anyway..

If our only targets are 10 and 7 mills for right backs each window and we can't do nothing else as we have no follow ups then I despair :56:

We can't keep going with Lustig he's served the club but that's past he's ready for the knacker's yard , be as well giving Ralston his shot if we fail to secure a proper RB for money this window.

Agent has come out today saying he is looking to move . I have a feeling he might end up at us. If he wants to end up playing in the EPL then we would be the best club to join in between.

    He’s worth 4-5M at most.

I think in this day and age the value of a footballer is hard to pinpoint. I mean Solanke sold for £19m, he has no proven record

Spot on though a player who is young and English are worth at least 4x their actual value. Prime example is John Stones for £50M, a defender who can’t defend.

Rather spend 50mill on John stones than 10 on McKenna.

Timothy Castagne’s agent has said the Celtic target is seriously considering a January move away from Atalanta.

Serie A giants Fiorentina have joined the race for the Belgium international who is also wanted by Lazio and Ulisse Salvini released a statement in Italy to say the player was “considering changing places” this month.

Castagne is high on Celtic’s wanted list as Brendan Rodgers looks for a long-term replacement for Mikael Lustig.

But Atalanta are expected to hold out for at least £6million which could prove a problem.

Last week the 23-year-old revealed his dream destination would be England or the Bundesliga.

Lazio no longer in for him apparently, Sky saying they’re going for Zappacosta instead, still wouldn’t be too devastated if we missed out

In recent days we had told you exclusively about the interest of Swansea for Timothy Castagne, Belgian side not untouchable at Atalanta. There have been several meetings in recent days, but have not led to any definition for the demands of the Nerazzurri club held high by the Welsh. Atalanta does not intend to sell the 1995 class on loan, which is why the deal seems to have entered a tunnel without any outlets.

I have said it before, but there is no 'market value' anymore. Up to 7/8 years ago, you could look at a player, put a value on him and when he did move you would be close to being accurate. The crazy money swilling around, especially in the EPL, the further importance and influence of agents, the fact that the Bosman ruling has come full circle, big clubs stockpiling players, as well as where a player is on his contract affects the fee, means everything is up in the air.
Lads I have never even heard of going for thirty million, Solanke has hardly kicked a ball and going for nearly twenty, it is all * mental.

    https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Seri...ile-dubbi-pasalic-castagne-320145015947.shtml

Gazetto from this week said that we had already had an offer from nearly €10mi revoked from us.They are saying that also Lazio, Fiorentina and Hoffenheim are interested for a permanent transfer. But not as interested as Swansea and Besiktas.

Cant find anything about Hoffenheim interest in any German media.

As well they are saying we offered close to €10mil? But we only offered £6,5mil which would be around €7,3mil. Not sure about my translation, Italian is a bit rusty.

I think Lazio have signed Zappacosta, So I would imagine they are out of the running
