    We must be loaded if were paying 6m for a Rb given our need for strikers this window. Problem position for us though.

    Looks like they could be backing Brendan after all.

    Means absolutely nothing but I signed him for Celtic in Football Manager 2016 and he turned into one of my best players and lost him to the premiership for millions after 3 seasons. Signing him just in time.

    Sounds great but the reality is we cannot afford to spend £6million regularly to strengthen the different area of our team. We need to stop looking in the big leagues where we will overpay for talent and get a scout and scour the Balkans and Scandinavian leagues. If we spend this kind of money I would rather we target a player like Benkovic(while he was still in Croatia) who has undoubted talent and would cover a key position.

    6m is a fair whack. In these next two windows we need GK, RB, 2xCB, 2x ST, and possibly cover on the wings.

    Big outlay, no doubt the loan market will be used for Tim Weah and one of the CB's.

    Whilst I see what you're saying Benkovic isn't a good example.

    He cost Leicester £13m and Zagreb are able to charge good fees for their players.

    I'm not sold on this guy but I know nothing about him. He's got European experience, Is playing in Italy and has caps for Belgium...£6m is dirt cheap for that.

    Unless you get lucky with bargains, that’s the sort of money you need to strengthen. Can’t rely on pish around £1m to fill the squad (Hendry, Commper, etc.)
