Just found that the first ever trophy that Celtic won in the hoops was in the first season of wearing it.
A 3-2 win against Deadco in the Scottish Cup final.

Was lucky to see Bobby Lennox but he was the only Lion.

Has to be Jinky for obvious reasons..

However, my Da always raves about George Connolly and what a player he was and could have been, so aye would have loved to have seen him in the flesh.

i was only young when McStay played so don't remember him much, heard he was a fine player though in a difficult time carried grant who was nicknamed peter the pointer not too many older celtic fans think fondly of him that i know because he just pointed you get him , you get him and shat it from hurlock also..was also there under tony mowbray management.
