Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned that new contract offers have officially been extended to Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy by WWE — and all signs point to an inevitable return.
We first reported that the two sides were in talks last month and The Sheet can now confirm that an actual deal is on the table for The Hardy Boyz to make a comeback in WWE.
As we previously reported, Broken Matt is currently battling with Impact Wrestling over the use of his name/gimmick. The wrestling company believes they should be paid when it’s used, but Hardy doesn’t agree. The brothers are also the current ROH tag champs after signing a short-term deal.
Still no word on whether WWE creative is looking to use their “broken” characters, but the legal side of things probably doesn’t bode well for a chance of that happening immediately.

This ed nordholm seems like a bit of an idiot tbf. Anthem weren't involved when the property was conceived and i cant see Hardy in his experience letting anyone own his creation bar him. Im sure borash, laganna and billy had input but not to the extent this clows claiming. Lets be honest, if vince wants the character he will have it.

Ive no idea what impacts going to do, the only thing that made me watch (the youtube channel for a minute) was the fact bruce pritchards back and so is del rio. They supposedly now have working relationships with noah (who are also under new'ish management and going in a different direction) and AAA ( who are still ran by the roldans etc, if konnans anything to be believed they are useless.) an influx of decent japanese/mexican talent could work them wonders but i hold no hope for it as they * up things like this in the past

The Miz and Maryse taking the * out of Cena & the Bellas was pretty funny. Not all of the jokes worked, but that doesn't matter. On the whole, it was a * of a lot better than the usual 'funny' that WWE try to do and fail abjectly at.

 

This week's WWE SmackDown, featuring The Usos defeating American Alpha for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles plus a main event segment with WrestleMania 33 opponents AJ Styles and Shane McMahon, drew 2.647 million viewers. This is up from last week's 2.628 million viewers.
