Rock made an appearance before RAW.






As noted earlier, The Rock is backstage at RAW to film content for the new Paige / Knight family film “Fighting With My Family”.

The Rock also appeared before the crowd shortly before RAW went on air. It’s unknown how the footage will be used, but cameras were rolling as The Great One as he entered the arena. IGN.com’s Eric Goldman, who is in attendance tonight, said The Rock cut a promo for the crowd and joked about not casting John Cena in it because it’s a good movie, then Vince McMahon walked The Rock backstage.

It was also revealed that The Rock will not appear on RAW tonight, but will be back out after the show to film a scene in the movie, which will feature Paige defeating AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship.

Tonight's WWE SmackDown and 205 Live will take place from the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California as the Road to WrestleMania 33 continues.
Announced for tonight's show is Nikki Bella vs. Natalya in a Falls Count Anywhere match plus a 10-man Battle Royal to determine WWE Champion Bray Wyatt's opponent for WrestleMania 33. The 10-man match will feature John Cena, AJ Styles, The Miz, Luke Harper, Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, Apollo Crews, Kalisto, Mojo Rawley and WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose.

WWE is also teasing Alexa Bliss vs. injured SmackDown Women's Champion Naomi for tonight.


On the 205 Live side for tonight, three matches have been announced - Brian Kendrick vs. Akira Tozawa, Mustafa Ali vs. Noam Dar and Tony Nese vs. Jack Gallagher.


WWE is focusing on the following points in their official SmackDown preview for tonight:

* A 10-Man Battle Royal will determine WWE Champion Bray Wyatt's opponent at WrestleMania

* Nikki Bella and Natalya will square off in a Falls Count Anywhere Match

* Will injured SmackDown Women's Champion Naomi be ready to fend off Alexa Bliss?

* How will The Usos destabilize SmackDown Tag Team Champions American Alpha?

 

Absolute quality promos on Raw this week - KO, Bayley/Sasha/Stephanie, Lesnar/Heyman and Foley/Stephanie. Really good stuff.

Would love to see Foley continue to defy Stephanie and eventually go against her.

A surprisingly good main event match between Show and Strowman, was a good match that gave Strowman yet another push, only to be ruined by Reigns being forced out to steal the show in the end, even though he did take a beating. No wonder he's being booed out buildings every week after being forced down peoples throats, even he must see they are using him wrong.

 

Pretty good SD this week.

Everything moving well with things.

 

Harper v Aj should be a good match next week.

The Usos have clearly looked towards O.G. Loc from San Andreas for promo inspiration.

 

Smackdown was excellent, a complete * up at the end but other than that a really good show.

Wonder if Randy will make his move next week?

For what it's worth i'm loving the Usos these days, they cut a quality promo and are really getting the best out themselves after their heel turn i think. Next tag team champs for sure!

 

Monday's WWE RAW, featuring a sitdown interview with Brock Lesnar plus Braun Strowman vs. Big Show in the main event, drew 3.216 million viewers. This is up 4% from last week's 3.087 million viewers.
For this week's show, the first hour drew 3.259 million viewers, the second hour drew 3.261 million viewers and the final hour drew 3.127 million viewers.
