    Yeah it's a *.

Went out there for a 45 minute, 3 mile brisk walk. Thoroughly enjoyed it and felt good, I like not having an aching back and knees from a run.

Just need to start doing it on an empty stomach instead

Done me knee in a while back(things got lively in the local)and im still struggling.
Was worried it may need scan but the last week its starting to improve so with a bit of luck ill be back full gym training soon
But i was amazed its taking so long to recover as i thought it was a minor knock.

And once the knee went then the hips and back played up and i was really * off but as i said its getting better so give it time to heal.

Been going to the gym consistently over the past couple of weeks and diet has been good apart from a 12 hour pub crawl after work. Lost a few pounds and think I can see a difference in the mirror already. Going to Munich on Tuesday though so will likely pile it back on :giggle1:

Will be to the gym when I'm back though.

Regarding @TimFloyd 's post about musclefood, I've used them for a while now and found their products very good, £25 for 5kg of chicken * is a good deal and they often have deals on individual products and hampers with various meats. Would thoroughly recommend them

Being back at Uni is killing me.

Eating like * when I'm through, not to mention the drinking. Like Spider I'm off to Munich next week so will be postponing anymore gym time till after then cos there is literally zero point:56:

Gonna see what I can do from when I come back till Xmas. Hopefully shed some of this beer belly that is building.

Playing football last night. Someone's stud landed on the pinky toe on my left foot. No wonder I was running funny for the rest of the match. :giggle1:

It'll heal up in a few weeks though. Nothing major, fortunately.

While you are playing its fine, its afterwards!

Turned over on my ankle playing on Tuesday, its pretty sore but i don't think there is any lasting damage, just twisted it. Should be fine for next week. Going to look into getting an additional game of fives or sevens during the week as well.

I am pretty fit compared to the rest that play but obviously can get better and playing more than once a week should help.

Eat a banana and drink a litre of water after running.

It's probably more your mind trying to trick in to "well if a done a bit of exercise then I can eat this and that" Especially if you a prone to * eating habits.

Right you lot. First and probably my last post on here but feeling good about what I have done so claiming the bragging rights afore it all goes * up again.

Always kept myself reasonably fit down a lot of half marathons up till I was 50, then just sort of gave up.

Retired last year at 56 and have lived on beer, malt whisky and * eating basically.

Got an MOT at the docs in February this year and it wasn't good. Got my youngest son's wedding next Feb and decided to do something about it. Don't want to be the fat bloke in the wedding photos.

Bought a excercise bike at the start of september started 30 mins a day. Now I'm up to 100mins and 60 odd km. Whatever that is in old money.

Got weighed this morning and I've lost .......... 18lbs.

Not bad for an old fat bloke eh?

If I could shift another stone I would be delighted .......... Just got to keep it off now :56:

Started using myfitnesspal a week ago again, it really does work wonders.

Been so strict and have noticed a difference already.

Have to fit into my kilt in 2 weeks and already I'm nearly in the buckle holes I'd prefer to be using.
