That, plus when you cut down on one vice your brain tends to start craving another.

I know. When I stopped drinking as much, I noticed I was buying and eating sweets more. Cut it down pronto.

I've been dieting for just over a couple weeks now and lost 9ibs. I'm doing a mix between keto (minimal carbs) and intermittent fasting. My weight is going up and down rapidly but overall seems to be going down faster. 24 hours ago I was fuming because I was 3ibs heavier than I am now! :56:

I'm 5 11" and now just under 13 stone but want to hit around 12 and a half and take it from there. :50:

Don't get too down about being a couple of pounds heavier than the day before. Your weight fluctuates throughout the day for a number of reasons. You'll usually weigh less in the morning due to your body being more dehydrated.

Yeah, I know it can fluctuate massively. Funnily enough it was in the morning when I weighed myself yesterday, and I didn't eat anything different and did a good amount of walking (around 20,000 steps) the day previous. I did drink a lot of water though, so I presume it could be water retention.

So in 17 days the only high carb/sugary thing I have had was a slice of cheesecake with ice cream and it made me put on about 3ibs overnight. It tasted * as well, was * raging! :56:

Haha unlucky. I've been avoiding desserts as much as I can. Taking a lot of will power.

Yeah, I'm quite good at having the will power, it was just that one occasion! The hardest part is staying off the beer, I don't drink a lot anyway, but it seems the past couple weeks there has been a lot of social occasions where not drinking is frowned upon! So I've had to resort to drinking whiskey and soda water!

Yeah, pints of Guinness. Sipping a small glass of whiskey just isn't the same. :54:

I'm normally good at just laughing it off anyway when people start taking the *. :50:

The worst is family saying that I've lost enough and need to stop, knowing my Mam she'll fatten me up again when I stop! :56:

It's just a maternal thing. I was a fat * as a kid so if it was up to her I'd always be fat as *! :56:

Pulled out a few of my old Celtic tops which are size L and they still fit, mind a bit snug.
Ya must wanna be one of dem skinny jeans hipsters lol.
Your height and weight are sound.
