Maybe, but I've been consistently losing 1kg per week by restricting myself to a 1500kcal a day diet.

(That said, this week looks to be a loss already. Weather and other factors have stopped me getting out on the bike, I overate massively today due to it being a family get-together (after having already done so on Sunday as well) and, as wussy as it sounds, I've just been a bit depressed and bored lately).

    I'm not picky.
Down to 185lbs (13.9stone/88.5kg) now. That's almost 100lbs (7.1stone/45.3kg) lost within the space of just over a year :dancing:

Down to 87kg from 90kg, just from cleaning up diet and a couple of gym sessions.

Thanks mate. Yeh I was just determined to lose weight. When I saw the 276lb mark when I stepped on the scales last February I couldn't believe it, so I put myself onto the straight and narrow. Cut a lot of * food out (especially foods high in sugars) and got my fat * outside and started walking/cycling/lifting weights. Once I got onto the right track and stuck to it, it became easier and more natural.

    Keep it up mate.

Nearly two months ago, I think I said in this thread that I was stuck in a bit of a rut with regards to my fitness, then I broke my foot playing football, which was more frustraing. But the foot is pretty much healed and I'm finally getting back into a good routine. I'm even going to the gym on the days where I'd rather be lazy. Just came back from a cardio session, sets me up nicely for the rest of the day.

Been bored as * just lifting weights, so been looking for something different.

Changed up my diet to low carb last week and been going walking with a weighted back pack early morning for half an hour. Evenings I have been doing circuits of slam ball, battle ropes, kettlebell and punch bag around 20 reps each for 5 rounds. Feel alot better cardio wise already, gave up the * fully now except very rare occasions and only a few cans at weekends.

Not been easy but sticking with it, would recommend anyone bored doing just weights to change it up. Hopefully once my fitness is better will start doing muay thai or boxing again.

Down a further couple of pounds this week which I didn't expect as Monday/Tuesday I had a couple of pints and a takeaway

Kind of * off with myself, woke up at 7 to go to the gym but felt cunted.

Sat and ate a cake and a pack of chocolate orange mini bites

I'm 1.5lbs off being below 170lbs for the first time ever.

Good news is I start a new job this week meaning I can get home to the gym every night now so going to * hammer the cardio
