Called that backlash scene on the hill months back. Too predictable.

Overall as a finale, I really enjoyed that episode.

 

Yeah thought it was a good episode.
Changes everything within the survivors group, civil war on the way??

 

Its weird, only one of them has a legitimate reason.

Jesus has been an advocate the past season or so for making a change and not having to kill other people. Now of all a sudden he's wanting to kill Negan? Then Darryl just let Dwight go free. Even Darryl has shown forgiveness. Maggie is the only one I can understand at this point.

Was total *. I really enjoyed the season until that. Ffs. Its almost like neegans too good for the writers to kill off.

Good news, mega zombie horde coming.

 

Just caught up with it there after going away from it for weeks.

Last 4 or 5 episodes were better. 2nd half trumps the first.

Could see it all coming tjough tbh and as said above it's almost as if they need Negan to stay alive.

What is series 9 going to be about? Anyone read the comics?

 

Just done a bit of reading and apparently there will be a jump in years, maybe 2 or 3 ahead in series 9. Norman Reedus who plays Darryl also tweeted that he won't be turning on Rick, "don't worry" So will be interesting to see where that goes. Looks like they are heading back to Atlanta too according to screen shots of filming.

Also talk of two groups. The whisperers and the common wealth...apparently the latter are headed by that older woman who appeared in one episode wanting to trade.

Was done with this for a while but the 2nd half has got me back into it and series 9 sounds like a new direction.

Have also just read something interesting which might make sense. That giant zombie horde could be the whisperers. In the comics they cover themselves as zombies and travel in herds and a lot of people are thinking that could be them.

 

What a * ending.

I did think the hill thing was gonna happen as it got near.

This needs to get a conclusion and quickly.

I disagree, thought Ricks character was developing along nicely, but for me now and definetely more than ever they need to get some sort of ending, the way its going they're going to lose a lot of followers and it'll be cancelled and we'll get * all. Another couple of seasons and thats that, I'd even stick with it if they just got a new character for Rick.

 

Without Rick it's pointless pretty much.

 

I agree mate, its been his story we've followed since the beginning. Also, can see Maggie leaving this season aswell, thats two huge characters. Its time they set an end date.

Have an ending with a spin off for new characters somehow. If ricks leaving, i want to know the ending.

 

Nah that's Alexander Armstrong and that big lanky guy with the specs

 

Season 9 18 month time jump confirmed then.

Seems like lazy writing, but hopefully that means we can get right into it again.

 

This is pretty much make or break at this stage.
