The Walking Dead.

I enjoyed it again. Was a bit mad, just continuing the fight. Dont get that jesus saving folk. Id just shoot him. Kjll or be killed.

 

I know it is based off of a comic but all they should have used from the comic was the basic premise and some of the characters.

Some of these story lines really do reek of utter comic book nonsense.

The first season of The Walking Dead was superb, 6 episodes, nice contained story that could have just finished after that for good and been quite satisfying.

I've seen this show highlighted as Southern Gothic, season one aye, the rest of it absolutely no * way.

They should have taken more of an influence from Cormac McCarthy's The Road, have it no more than 3 seasons with 6 episodes maximum each season, less of the soap opera pish that it has turned into. It is obviously a show that doesn't have the ability to keep itself fresh, I mean we don't even really get much of a feeling for their desperation for food.

Make it Ricks story and his story alone, have him lose everything along the way, each season only breaking him more and more as he loses his wife and son (yes kill the *) until the final season it ends with him alone trapped in some small cabin surrounded by zombies with them breaking in and Rick left with one bullet, fade to black. Or something like that (yes seems a bit obvious, but something in that vain). The last survivor we know dies.

Cause that's what the Walking Dead should have been, no hope for humanity, the slow shambling walkers the only remnant of humanity.

The shootouts in it too are * ridiculous. Tara has to be one of the most irritating characters too, her * sunglasses and lolipop in the first episode argh!! And them not giving a * about the massive herd of zombies, they don't care why should we? Aye I know they were using them for their plan but the zombies should be something to fear, a reminder for the characters that that is their future.

 

On another note. I think neegan was onto that melted face guy being a mole. No weapons at the weapon hold. Thats gonna bite them on the *. Hope they get forced into a city. A proper disease filled zombie walking city.

And as your saying above. Kill his son. Theyve teased us with that eye. Lets finish the job.

Watched 2nd episode last night but was barely concentrating.

Gonna officially give up on this. Maybe watch the finale one day.

So many better programmes about and I've been watching this just out of habit for so long now.

 

Zombies are pretty much a sub plot now

 

Watched this weeks episode. Lotta *. Starting to loose my interest now. What's with the swtich between different sides of the battle every 2 mins, what's even going on?

 

* knows but they should add some 28day zombies in to freshing it up. Then the zombie fear will be back. Zombies with speed. Too right.

 

The series had been slipping for a while now but the last two episodes

I have no idea what happened, but it was some of the worst TV I've seen in this genre. To go from what the series was in the first few seasons - high tension, character development, characters you actually cared about/liked, zombie survival - to what it is not - main characters invulnerable, and endless list of characters you couldn't care less about, a supply of weapons and ammunition that would make soviet Russia shiver, sub plot of zombies who only now pose any threat under the most ridiculous circumstances - is pretty amazing actually.

Episode 2 was particularly bad with the endless action reminding me of a Bollywood film. I honestly had no idea what they were supposed to be doing or which side was which. The one redeeming character is Neagan but he's apparently still locked in a trailer with that priest.

Seriously considering just chucking it now, started watching Stranger Things which is much better.

 

No Negan now for 3 episodes. Start to the season hasn't been great.

fekkin kodi box episodes today are all 100th episode behind the scenes ... ah well will have to wait till 9 tonight .

 

Turning into a load of pish.Started watching Z Nation last week and it walks all over this,they don't hold back,Zombie babies,stoned zombies,Amish zombies,great show and well worth a watch.

Yeah z nation doesn't take itself too seriously. Good * up storyline with a few laughs

 

* over Frank Darabont was the biggest mistake AMC made.

Said it before but The Walking Dead had so much potential to be a fantastic show, and for a while it was very good.

But it's just descended into a load of repetitive nonsense.
