First shave with the safety razor this morning, felt great wish I got one ages ago.

Only nicked myself once on the head but that was a previous one from before.

Didn’t take that much longer than it did with a normal razor, also didn’t need to do so many pass overs one short pass and you can feel it taking every bit of hair.

Boots has stopped doing the hair * I use. My pal has told me to get BluMaan Cavalier Clay....what's your thoughts @Marty McFly?

Would I be on my way to becoming a hairstyle idol or kicking about with a barnet like Euan Henderson?

I’m guessing your mate watches hair tutorials on YouTube. BluMaan isn’t a product I have used but the lad that punts it does have some enviable locks so it probably does a good job.

Clay and Paste are my go to’s these days so I would say fire away. I’m still working through my Pacinos paste which is doing the job.

My next venture will be Hairbello’s Mustang or the one @Fontaine recommended a few pages back. Either way, keep us posted. Welcome to the club :50:

My hair is thick as * and flies about in the wind unless I've got a clay/putty in it. Hopefully it's decent (better be as it's 3 x the price of Fish Fibre that Boots used to sell :eek1:)

    It will be good mate.

I progressed a while back from the 4 quid VO5 stuff to the £20 products :56:

@Fontaine tried to get the Flagship matte paste but it’s sold out on slickboys, Amazon were telling me a month for delivery too :56:

So I’ve ordered O’Doud Matte Paste see how I get on with that. Also threw Flagship Cream Pomade in my basket for when my hair grows a bit longer again and I fancy a bit of slick

Hair is at that in-between length the now as I went shorter being fed up with the blow-drying, regretting it already, but we’re getting there.

That Cavalier Clay * is decent @Marty McFly. Not greasy at all and you can scruff it about during the day.

You've got to be careful and not let the wind catch it though or you can end up scraping the artex off my granny's ceiling with a @MagnificentSeven quiff.

Aye was tempted to give that a bash, I’m actually still enjoying my Pacinos but it’s nearing the end o the tub and fancied something a bit stronger.

We can do swappsies at the Celtic Festival

Went and bought some of these for going to Thailand as I wasn't wanting to use the safety razor all the time.

Got to say they are fantastic blades for what they are can shave just as quick and as aggressive as you would a match 3, didn't even use my safety blade while I was away

Decent shave as well will be buying more

Do me a favour and let me know how you get on with the O'doud stuff mate. It's a home brewer I've not picked anything up from yet!

The Flagship cream pomade is tremendous man!

Clay Pomade - used to be amazing. They reformulated it and its now pretty poor for me. Depends is your hair holds quite well naturally or if you need to work at it or not really.

Pretty much swear by Flagship these days. Their products seem to hold the best.

@Seán Mac D - Zara have their own version of Creed Aventus. Vibrant Leather - £20 a bottle. Good gear but doesn’t last too long.
