    It’s a fantastic deal for Milan. Caldara, who is the future of the Italy defence with Romagnoli, and Higuain for Bonucci who never worked out at Milan.

    Going all out for the Champions League.

    Went under the radar a bit but Joao Cancelo is a great signing for them as well. He was fantastic for Inter last season.

    It’ll be a sickener if they win the CL the season after Buffon leaves.:giggle1:

    If Bonucci slots back in like he never left, then I make them favourites for the CL. Bonucci and Chiellini at the back and Ronaldo at the other end.

    Not sure why they didn’t offer Buffon a sensible contract offer when he has been fantastic for them. They gave Barzagli a new contract and he hasn’t been playing as much but is still obviously a great player to have but Buffon was a definite starter for them.

    I saw this potential squad lineup for next season and I agree that they have a very good chance of winning the CL. They have world class players in every position. And still have the likes of Mandzukic, Marchisio, Benatia, Barzagli, Khedira etc to choose from as well.

    Like the look of that side, good balance and they have a very strong bench.

    Buffon be absolutely snapping if they managed to go on and challenge for the UCL.

    Haven't seen much of him lately, but I think I read he's rated quite highly in Italy. Was quite young at Arsenal, possibly a much better player these days.
