    They do need freshened up, now would probably be a good time for them to punt Modric, Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema they're 33, 33, 29 and 31 I think, if they can get £250million or more for them they could go for younger guys like Verratti, Hazard, Neymar and Icardi or guys like that and be set for another 5/6 year.

    Aye hes still one of their top players, 33 though. They could maybe get £30million for him if they were to sell him this summer as someone could think he has 2/3 world class years left in him, next year then he'll probably have no value. With the prices going about nowadays as well I dont think Real Madrid could let any of Modric, Bale, Ronaldo and Benzema become worthless as they're going to cost £80million+ apeice to replace - you're probably talking about £400-500million to replace them unless they get lucky with a couple of guys coming out of contract so they'd need to make some money back.

    They've also spent £40m on Vinicius Jr, and just agreed another £40m for Rodrygo, two of Brazil's hottest prospects. Both of them play in the same position as Neymar. Football needs new rules.

    Reading between the lines from Deschamps today coupled with the looming July 1 fee going down & Barca links for months, Griezmann deal looks to be done. Have watched him for years in Primera, clear he is a talent & I like him but I don't see the fit/need

    William Carvalho, Bruno Fernandes, Gelson Martins and Bas Dost terminated their contracts today as well.

    There are now six (6) free agents:
    - Rui Patrício (~15M€);
    - William Carvalho (~25M€);
    - Bruno Fernandes (~30M€);
    - Gelson Martins (~30M€);
    - Podence (~5M€); and
    - Bas Dost (~15M€).

    More players to terminate their contracts with Sporting until 14 June and they don't have a manager either. Scolari, Mano Menezes and Sá Pinto were some of the managers who came out publicly saying Sporting approached them.
