What a * team they had back then, loved Eirik Bakke anaw.

Horribe, horrible club though and any manager who would be even daft enough to entertain listening to an apporoach from them, nevermind accepting it kinda deserves what they get right now.

That * that has just been sacked, well that's kinda just desserts from him after *ahem* deserting Barnsley to go to them...

After some crazy events (including the assault in Sporting's training ground), Rui Patrício and Daniel Podence already terminated their contracts with Sporting, alleging just cause ("justa causa"). They are now free agents.

Jorge Jesus (former Benfica coach, earning 8M€/y in Sporting) apparently reached an agreement to terminate his contract as well.

Many other players are speculated to unilaterally terminate their contracts alleging just cause next week, notably William Carvalho, Battaglia, Bruno Fernandes, Marcos Acuña, Gelson Martins and Bas Dost.

was reading about that the other day. Crazy stuff. The president coming out and slating the players after the Atletico game, then the fans attacking the players. A lot of talent up for grabs there for anybody who can pay the wages.

Just read this in a article about him signing....

“Arsenal's new transfer team led by chief executive Ivan Gazidis, head of recruitment Sven Mislintat and head of football relations Raul Sanllehi, have prioritised adding experience to Arsenal's defensive ranks.”

Who the * wants to go and work in those conditions? * that know next to fuckall about your team signing your players.

I’ll give them credit on the guy Mislintat, he’s an ex Dortmund scout, credited with signing Lewandowski and a few others.

Aye the talent that mislintat signed for Dortmund is outrageous, that's a guy with a serious eye for talent.

For Arsenal to get him in and then go out and get * Lichtsteiner doesn't add up.

I don't really see a problem with them signing Lichtsteiner, apart from the fact he's a *.

Still a good player and a serial winner.

Lichtsteiner's a top full-back, superb signing even if it's just a season or two.

Aye I wasn’t really disagreeing about the signing, sort of signings Wenger should have been making, when they became available.

As much as I hope some * * chokes that Ulrik von Leichtensteiner *, he's the type of player they need.

Fulham join the race for James Maddison, rated between £20-25M!

Liked what I seen of him at Aberdeen but wasn’t overly fussed that we didn’t show an interest in him.

Seeing him touted for that money is crazy though. He scored 15 goals from midfield for Norwich last season, which is quite impressive. However it makes me think we’d be getting ripped off taking any less than £25M for Dembele. He scored 17 (I think) in the same league as an 18/19 year old and has improved a lot since then.

    Food for thought.
