    Why?

    He's a cracking player. He was in the Ligue 1 team of the year in his first season at Marseille, then fell out with the club. On a free he's a good signing imo.

    They only have one real defensive midfielder - Thiago Motta who doesn't play all that much now.

    Think it’s easy to see why folk are surprised at that signing, even allowing for the fact they can sign anyone they want from anywhere he’s played 20 League games a season twice in his career and he’s 33 in March.

    Just shows you we should loan more of our players there. If Sviatchenko went on loan to a team like Norwich and done well we could probably have got £5million+ in Denmark he'll be worth heehaw.

    Not really sure how Aubameyang, Lacazette, Mahrez and Mkhitaryan would fit into the same team.

    Wonder if they will shift Lacazette in the summer if they get Aubameyang in now. Atletico Madrid were keen on him.
