East Fife are linked with a one legged one armed Pig Farmer from Droitwich, but they face stiff opposition from Rangers,Clydebank and Third Lanark.

Is that not against the rules, surely you have to agree with the club then you are given permission to talk to the player

Tapping up seems to be largely ignored for a few years now. Most clubs are now agreeing an initial framework of a deal before approaching the club & working out a fee.

Probably find most transfers the player and buying club have already agreed a deal before the club's to agree a fee

That's how transfer bans happen, tapping up. Yeh I'm sure a lot get away with it but definitely not most transfers.

You can gain permission to talk to a player before the fee is agreed.

Aye, assumed he meant they'd spoken privately.

Man United have been reduced to just another scatter scout club with loads of money.

Their targets are New York Stock Exchange driven.

They seem extremely desperate and throw insane money at anybody. trying to lure ok players with elite money. cringeworthy.

Paul Pogba was an embarrassing signing for me, even more so than Fellaini.

Clubs will just rip the pish out them now, like 30 million plus for Lindelof for example.

They must be the worst run club in the World, im sue they have the highest wage bill in Sport of any team, they are also the 2nd or 3rd richest club and have been for years yet they've done fuckall and their squad is *. Imagine finishing 6th in your League when you are the 3rd richest team anywhere.

It would be like if Barca and Real were finishing 5th and 6th in Spain or Bayern were finishing 3rd or 4th in Germany.

Weird thing is as well that nobodies really said much about it, haven't heard fans calling for the heads of the board or protests or anything. * appointments of Moyes and Van Gaal just swept under the carpet while they fork out massive fees for flop after flop or massively over priced players Shaw, Fellaini, Pogba, Di Maria, Martial.

Man U in reality should have at least a good a squad as Juventus, PSG, Chelsea, Atletico and Man City if not Barca, Real or Bayern but they are more Liverpool, Arsenal, Roma, Dortmund or Napoli class.

I think their problem is they've no clear plan and if Mourinho can't get his own targets there's going to be no manager capable of bringing in who they want.

Mourinho buys solid consistency, guys like Pogba aren't Mourinho players IMO. He'd much rather a Matic.

Been saying for a few years the glazers need to go they're awful owners and Woodward is terrible on the football side of running a club, good at getting all these daft merchandise deals tho and they'll continue to plod along being nowhere near as successful as they were under fergie because they're making big money despite finishing 6th

Kane makes sense as their English face to replace Rooney. Though Spurs won't sell their talisman and he seems reasonably loyal, only thing that would tempt him would be trebling his salary as Levy is stingy and fairly smart with contracts.

Matic Herrera Pogba will be some midfield for United if they sign Matic.

He's went down hill a bit, had a great first season at Chelsea but since then is probably one of their weaker links now, slow as * as well and tuning 29 in a few weeks. Man U should be steering clear of him and going for someone more up and coming with better legs.

Mourinho obviously wants someone with experience to sit in front of Lindelof and Bailly.

Also gives Pogba more freedom at the same time.
