    He was an absolute warrior.

Would have liked him here, a Rodgers type player.

Must admit I kind of had this view myself for a while.

Moyes' coupon depresses me, glad we never appointed him. Still worried he will replace Rogers though.

When Rodgers eventually does leave I'd have no issues with Moyes being in the frame.

Rodgers is a one off, we don't attract managers with his type of stock in the age of the EPL finances we live in.

After Celtic was off the table he's well within his rights to chase the £££.

His whole touchline demeanour is negative you look at people like Conte and Klopp who kick every ball and then look at him who looks like he doesn't wanna be there

It's not just that, but a negative after negative environment and what is looking like, probably, 3 sacks on the trot....eventually must take it's toll..

Where he'd go after Sunderland I have no idea probably a lower league championship team like Wolves etc no big club will give him a go

I would be very very upset if we didn't attempt to bring in a manager who would continue on developing an attack-minded team, especially considering the difference in entertainment at CP since the beginning of the Rodgers Revolution...

Gonçalo Guedes signed for PSG. 30M€ + 7M€ possible in a future transfer. Official.

Possibly the third most notorious player emerging in the Benfica youth academy, after Renato Sanches and Bernardo Silva.

It's always sad to see the kids leave but we're getting kinda used to it. There's plenty of talent upfront, better to sell Guedes than Nelson Semedo, Lindelof or Grimaldo. Guedes isn't worth 30M yet. He wasn't a starter. However, he made an impact at every stage (u-16, u-18, B team and main squad) and therefore was really appreciated by the fans. Scored at Vicente Calderon, San Paolo, Istambul...

According to the media, Wolves will pay 15M to keep their fan favourite Hélder Costa, currently on loan. 9 goals in 28 games, as a winger. That's 85M from Benfica's academy in less than 12 months (Renato, Gonçalo and Hélder). I don't like to see them leave, but can't argue with the numbers.

Who though, would we go foreign? Can't think of any Scots/Irish/Brits who would emulate Rodgers' philosophy.

Could see us promoting from within, but a Kennedy or Davies wouldn't command the respect Rodgers does nor the pulling power.

Dread to think about it tbh. Moyes is still a good manager, in my opinion. United was lamb to the slaughter, kudos for the Spanish experiment and Sunderland are due a relegation.

West Ham are now in for him. Replacement for Payet?

Better move for him anyway, even if it is still a lower end team.

It would need to be foreign.

But not an experiment like Deila.

In terms of British gaffers I wouldn't say no to Garry Monk if we are talking another 5 year down the line for example. Unfairly sacked at Swansea and working wonders with Leeds currently.

All hypothetical at the moment though, Brendan is here for a while yet.
