    Great respect to Edmund, what a run he's had at this tournament and will fill him with confidence going into future slams.

    WRT injuries i think it's pretty simple what the problem is - far too much tournaments played on hard courts and too many mandatory events. If they could have a lesser schedule, with more events played on clay and grass and less on the hardcourts, they'd see a difference I think.

    I doubt it, he's a good young player with a devastating forehand and a vastly improved serve. Doubt he'll ever win one but he'll have other marquee moments in his career I'm sure.

    At 23 and constantly improving, to reach an Australian Semi-Final with the big hitters floundering all over the place, I would bet my mortgage on the fact it won't be his last trip to the tail end of a Slam.
