McGregor just pushed him away didn’t he? He was interviewed after and just said he was frustrated but I think there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes.

Annoying result for us since the groups finished now for scotland but well still have half a team taken away to play the 9 games left

Jakey McLeish is clueless, how many times does he shrug his shoulders during that interview. No wonder Cal Mac pushed McFadden, frustration of having to work with coaches such as them when they are used to the professionalism of our club.

The standard of player available to the manager on the night is utterly abysmal.

Palmer and Shinnie in the back line where he would have had Tierney and Robertson.
John Mcginn is a headless chicken in midfiled who is supposed to be the ball winner. Armstrong has absolutely no tactical discipline and just drifts. Scott Brown is a huge miss.
The only quality creative Scottish player is James Forrest ,if he has an off night (as he did) then the whole attack struggles.
The attackers are as bad as it gets. Honestly, Mcburnie, Burke and Jonny Russell from the MLS. Jesus wept.

The manager is poor, goes without saying. However, with a squad that poor anyone will struggle. A year ago you had a chance (Alan Mcgregor, Tierney, Robertson, Scott Brown, Leigh Griffiths) . Those players now retired or unavailable , the current squad is a shambles.

Feel bad for McGregor and Bain out there, the rest of them were absolutely *. Need to bring some pragmatism to the Scotland job not just a job for the boys kind of appointment. Absolute * performance

Scotland's Callum McGregor and assistant boss James McFadden were involved in a post-match confrontation following the humiliation against Kazakhstan.

Alex McLeish's side were humbled 3-0 by a side ranked 77 places below them in the world rankings in a disastrous opening to the Euro 2020 qualifying campaign.

And tempers flared following the final whistle as Celtic star McGregor reportedly appeared to push McFadden away as he made his way off the pitch.

McGregor was made captain for the night in the absence of Andy Robertson on an embarrassing occasion for the international side.

And the Celtic star admitted there was anger at full-time.

Asked about the incident, McGregor told Sky Sports: "It's massive frustation. You come away and want to start the campaign well.

"But you've got to play better than that if you want to gather points.

We're devastated. We were nowhere near good enough on the night, we've just got to hold our hands up.

"They totally deserved it. We were nowhere near it tonight."
