I think he has a soft spot for Mayo but unfortunately he seems to want to carve out a career for himself in soccer

Think you will be disappointed mate. Can't see anything but a Dubs win. It will be predictable too, Tyrone will put it up to them untill half time, Dublin will weather the storm roll out their subs and kick on Second half winning by 5-10 points. As for Celtic * knows the way we are playing, but I can see a dull draw in this one.. so Dubs,Draw is my prediction. Uninspiring stuff but I'll be in the pub for the Celtic game early so alcohol will numb the pain:60::56:

Dubs by 8 is my gut feeling, also. Just hoping Mickey Harte has something up his sleeve.

This is exactly what the commentators were saying half way through the game in Omagh. Tyrone according to them were looking tired and the Dublin subs would come on and blow them out of the water. What actually happened was that Tyrone subs made more of an impact and it was they who finished stronger hauling Dublins lead back. Dublin will in all likelihood win the game but they will need to take Tyrone as serious opposition.

The most likely team that might have shocked Dublin in my opinion was Monaghan.

I completely agree with you re. Monaghan, which is why I was backing them.

Totally agree with you Monaghan too. That tight pitch in Omagh will make for a totally different game in croker mate

Good to see Hill16 almost evenly split.

Mon Tyrone and at least make this a decent game.

Wee helping hand from the ref. Never a penalty

That decision changed the whole path of the game. Not only worth a goal but turned the tide of the game in Dublin's favour

What happened. I left it for a while. That decision by the ref swung the momentum and ruined the match as a contest

Congrats to Dublin on yet another All Ireland title. That is 6 in eight years now as well as winning 5 of the last 6 national league titles. A quite remarkable accomplishment for Dublin putting another seal on their status as arguably the greatest team in the games history.

Remarkable indeed. No idea how they do it with their tiny population and minimal funding from the GAA x
