Lustig had every right to complain the intent was there I've seen players being booked for less.

    Exactly this! :50:

If you read up about him you will see that he is a really good guy. He might act cocky on the pitch, but does that make him a bad guy ?

People are just jealous of him because he has pretty much everything.
Good looks, Wealth, Fame, Great footballing ability...

    Top man IMO

I like him, always have. He has some complete * moments though. That was very ironic with Lustig :smiley-laughing002:

If the shoe had been on the other foot, you can guarantee that Ronaldo would have been rolling around trying to get Lustig sent off. As a footballer, you have to admire his ability, but he is a total *.

Lustig could have got him sent off there. Got to give him credit for not going down and making a meal of it. What is Ronaldo thinking about doing that in such an important game? Lustig isn't blameless though he shouldn't have run up to him.

This is the sort of daft * that really * me off.

I agree with the generally consensus that he's a wankpiece on the pitch no doubt.... I'm pretty sure he's a decent lad off it.

Superb talent on the ball, every confidence he is a decent lad and does his fair part behind close doors as well. But he is a known diver and play actor. He kicks out and attempts to con the ref. If things don't go smoothly in a game, you see his frustration turning, and he becomes a rather dirty player.
For this he is a *.

As for the lustig moment, I don't think you can claim lustig play acted, or done wrong.
He held his hand yo his face, to communicate across a pitch that contact had been made. He didn't go to the floor rolling in 'agony' or retaliate to ronaldo etc.
Why shouldn't he show that ronaldo just attempted a head *, weak/tame as it was, you just dont do that.
Mulgrew found out the hard way with lafferty.

I like him, he used to be a * but not so much anymore. He's matured a lot. Entertaining player that we are lucky to witness this generation tbh.

Maybe, but I guarentee if Lustig has brushed his head up against Ronaldo and then mocked his slightly dramatic reaction people would be calling Lustig a top guy.

As for Ronaldo being a "wankpiece" on the pitch (which he probably is tbh), I'm not even sure that's such a crime. I used to enjoy being a * deliberately when playing football with my mates, so add in the pressure of playing for club and country and I imagine I'd be a total * on the pitch, as would tonnes of others.

Every club has had players that all the opposition fans hates because they act like total * on the pitch, when off the pitch they seem inoffensive enough. I'm thinking folk like *puts on hard hat* Neil Lennon.

Don't know anything about the guy off the field so can only comment on his on field behaviour. To be fair to him he is unlucky to be playing at the same time as Messi as without doubt for me not only is he a great player he is head and sholders better then anybody else on the planet except for Messi. But he really does let himself down with many of his antics on the field.

Brilliant player, doesn't come across as a * in his interviews. Other than the odd girly reaction to a tackle, no real problem with him here.

He is a sore loser, but so are all the greats at most sports. It's the sign of a 'winner' for me.

I just think it's a classic example of people putting someone on a pedestal to knock them off it again.

I can't stand his actions on the park other than when he is being the genius he can be. By all accounts he is sound off it though.
