I'm old enough to just about remember them and their dodgy plastic leisure center type pitch they used to play on. Luton really is a shithole.

I was at the CSC there once, they claimed it was the biggest in the world at the time.

Luton is an absolute mad place though! I have had a few mates from there and have been told stories that are just mental. It is full of Irish, Asians and racists;what could possibly go wrong?

Kenilworth Road is probably my favourite ground in England, that I have visited at least. Which is saying something as the last time I was there the team I was supporting got beaten 7-0!
A proper old ground, it is a shame they are moving to an Ikea stadium but needs must.

My pal's da was staying up in Bedford and used to go through there. I blew out the first huns game of the season and we all had tickets through Kevin Lynch's relatives/family if I remember right that live in Luton. Deffo a lot of Tim's there..

It's a shithole alright. I went years ago once to Kenilworth Road for Luton Qpr with my pal and walked it the whole way. Wee bridges I can remember where their kid's were following the away crowd from high up being pests :giggle1:

I have had a pint in a pub there called 'Bar 32', you can guess their allegiances, it made the tabloids a good while backfor refusing to serve anyone wearing the poppy. :56:I wonder if it is still there?

I'm sure there was a thread about it on here at the time. Either that or it was just discussed in the the annual poppy one.
