Dunne would be immence up here, the only problem would be the lack of pace, if him and maj were partnered.

Is there ever a chance the football teams from north and republic play as one nation? Cos so do the rugby team from ireland and they are quite succesfull.
Or is this not really an option for the both sides? Hope to see ireland in the EC.

I was thinking exactly the same myself. What a disgusting and cynical move but very much in line with who he is.
He basically now just wants to use our national team to help him as it suits him because all of a sudden his career is in the *. The man is a complete * and I hope he never pulls an Ireland shirt on again.
Note to Stephen Ireland the national team is about playing for your country and for all of us Irish all over the world.

Why not ? The rugby teams play together. Why is it so different in football then.

What reason is there for this to happen? It's just as likely that England would join with Scotland and Wales. Never gonna happen.

Just wondering if it would be possible because I saw it in the six nations. So why is it possible in rugby? But if the fans don't want it well then they should not do it. Think picking out anthems would be hard anyway.

This news about Ireland wanting to get back into the Irish setup just to put himself in the Shop window has put me off him.

he can shove it, if he said he wanted to comeback to represent his country again id have said yes but he was stupid enough to come out and say he would just use it to * himself about to clubs, so he can GTF as far as im concerned.

Play for the shirt not yourself.

    * sake why does all our youngsters seem to get injured. Any word on how Meyler got on today? i know its his first 90 minutes since his nasty injury. And kilbane has moved down to league one with huddersfield so maybe now just maybe trap will give ward a chance and he deserves it.

If Kilbane is called up o the Celtic Cup I will be * off. He's in League 1 and * pish. Ward, O'Shea and Clark should all be far higher in the pecking order. Foley and Hunt can play full-back too.
