What header. Buried it and left 2 Danes on their *.
Told you so x
Oh please tell me those last two numbers were serendipity
What was the final score?
I’ll take that!
Win on Monday will see us off to a good start.
Absolutely delighted! The Danes missed some amount of chances, but a 1-1 away from home, without a midfield,(Whelan did his job, but Jeff is the white Bin Laden) is great. I still can't see us winning against Switzerland or Denmark at home, but that's not for tonight.
On our day we can draw with anyone.
Stfu you won your first two games
Missed the game through work but we're in a really good position
Against Georgia and Gibraltar! We need to beat either Switzerland or Denmark, I would be very surprised if we beat either. We have no midfield! McCarthy deserves huge credit, even if we rode our luck tonight.
You've already shown you have the measure of Denmark. Switzerland are leaking goals. Can't believe you stole our best Tims
We can't beat them though. That's why I joke about being able to draw with anybody, it is our way.
I can never tell when you're being serious. Are you saying even if you draw against Switzerland and Denmark you won't get close to topping the group?
Edit: Try supporting Scotland if you want to feel real pessimism
There are not many quality players in the Ireland team at the moment but Shane Duffy really is a beast at center back and gets more then his fair share of goals as well from set pieces. Considering we need to sign at least 1 if not 2 quality center backs Shane Duffy would be a terrific signing for us if we got him. However he is one of Brighton's most important players and is under contract to them for another 2 years so no way they would be letting him go for anything short of a double digit millions fee so out of our league transfer fee wise I would think sadly.
No the GAA is set up on a local community basis. You play for the local club in your town and your represent your community and then inter county football is set up kind of like international football in that you play for whatever county you were born in with few exceptions.
Keep the GAA out of here, ye *!! I am sure there is a thread for that nonsense!
Hopefully rattle a few by these tonight
