Yes, me too. When I am in Glasgow for a game, it is easy to get there.

Anyone else got suggestions for walks (day or half day) that are easily reachable by public transport from Glasgow?

I have been looking to get to Loch Lomond as there is a train running up there, so I will do that some day.

Makes me think of the stairway leading to Park Guell in Barcelona. Fecking nightmare. Fortunately they have escalators for some of it...:56:

Great Topic,i walk all over the mountains and hills of North Wales and also when i get the chance the glorious Scottish Highlands!

Also i used to walk the hill from Hillfoot Train Station up to my Gran's house in Bearsden when i was a wee lad.

The Campsies are well within reach and the training ground at Lennoxtown is a good starting off point.Great views of the Glasgow area and beyond.

Seems like a great idea. Cheers, mate. :50:

Better go for a walk next time than sitting all day in a pub. :smiley-laughing002:

Walk to the bar is enough.
