Then you've Man Utd - with the former most expensive player Paul Pogba (£90odd million), Lukaku at nearly £80m, Luke Shaw £30m, Fred cannie even get a game and he was about £50m, plus plenty of others.

They're all just fitba clubs on steroids. At least Pep knows how to make a fitba team and no just a team full of expensive wallopers.

I know what ya mean,just can't help but think that the likes of Liverpool/Man U are as big and rich as they are because they were historically successful and well supported.Maybe it's just me but their status seems more hard earned.Man City had some mega-rich oil * swagger in,splash the cash and just buy it all.

 

Aye, Liverpool and Man U did it for years, but they also did it by spending £££ (in whatever era you can think of).

Liverpool AND Man U have had yanks walk into their clubs and take them over flinging plenty of cash around.
